11 years. It's been 11 years since Astrid's seen her twin in person, but when the USWNT has an injury crisis Astrid is called up. What will happen with Astrid and her twin?
"Alright everyone enjoy your off day." Jill says at breakfast then she and the coaching staff leave.
Everyone finishes eating breakfast while talking about what they want to do while I look over some ideas for tattoo's.
"Watcha lookin at?" Mal asks
"I'm getting a tattoo today so I'm looking over some designs I want." I say.
"You're getting a tattoo during camp?" Becky asks.
"Isn't that bad to have while working out and sweating?" Sam asks.
"I've gotten one on the 2nd or 3rd of April every year since 2008 and I'm not gonna stop now. And if you properly care for it then it will turn out good...and I'm not playing tomorrow so I'll be fine."
"Why?" Allie asks.
"The same reason I did that running thing." I say and look at Kelley and Christen.
The know the reason I do this every year.
"Who are you going with?" Carli asks.
"Uh nobody?"
"What time are you going?"
"Um my appointment is at 10 am so I'm leaving in...30 minutes." I say.
"Do you want people to go with you?" Ash asks.
"If you want to spend a couple hours doing nothing then sure."
"We'll go." Ali says and Ash nods.
"I'll go." Kelley says.
"We'll go too." Alex says and Christen nods.
"Okay."
"So how many tattoos do you have?" Allie asks.
"After today 10"
"Can we see them?" Mal asks and I nod.
"Do yours have meaning?" Andi asks as everyone looks on.
"They do...some more significant than other's." I say then adjust my hoodie.
Thankfully I wore a crop top hoodie so I don't have to adjust that much.
I turn to show my right side.
"I got the Phoenix on my right side for a personal reason."
