"He isn't in love with me."

Nandini wakes up early and gets ready and goes to the kitchen to help Naina and Nyonika with breakfast.

"So when will they reach here?", she asked Naina who was busy cutting fruits.

"Soon. Cabir and Manik have gone to pick them up from the airport. They will be here in an hour. Go and check on the other girls, we will manage here.", Naina said her and she nods.

She goes to their rooms one by one and find them awake. At last she goes to mukti's room and finds her still sleeping.

She shakes her a little and mukti turns and sees her.

"Good morning nandu.",mukti said with eyes narrowed and a smile on her face.

"You should be the one doing work and I should be resting but here it is opposite.",nandini said her teasing.

"You too come and sleep.",mukti said making a bit space for her pulling her beside her.

"I don't want to sleep. Get up, guests are coming soon.",nandini said standing up.

"I am so excited to meet everyone. You are gonna love them.",mukti said thinking about it.

"Muku, will they like me?",nandini asked a bit nervous.

"Obviously, name someone who doesn't like you. The most difficult person to impress was bhai and he is already in love with you. So you don't have any reason to worry. They will like you for sure.",mukti said her walking near her and nandini blushes.

"He isn't in love with me.",nandini said her.

"Nandu are you kidding me? Or are you blind? I have never seen bhai like this with any girl. He clearly loves you. ",Mukti said slapping her head.

"Just because he behaves differently with me doesn't mean that he loves me. I am gonna be his wife, of course he will behave differently when it comes to me.",nandini said her.

"Nothing can happen between you. You both are idiots.",mukti said her annoyed.

"Hey don't call us idiots.",nandini said offended a bit.

"Its the truth. Now let me go and freshen up.",mukti said her and goes to the washroom.

Nandini walks down and finds bua sitting on the sofa. She tries to sneak in the kitchen but bua catches her.

"Come and sit with me.",bua asked and she fakes a smile and sits beside her.

"How are you?", Bua asked her.

"Fine, good",she answers and bua nods and moves her hand over her head.

Nandini looks at her hand confused.

"Your in-laws family will be here in some time. Be yourself and don't be nervous at all. Help naina and nyonika with work a bit. Don't fool around with the girls and boys all time. Okay.",Bua explained her and she nods still in daze and confused.

Bua looks at her empty neck and frowns.

"Why is your neck empty? Your mother can't do a single work properly.",bua said frowning.

"Mom gave me a chain to wear. I forgot to wear it.",nandini clarified her.

Bua removed her gold chain from her neck and makes her wear it. She looks at the woman trying to compare the change of behavior in 4 days.

"You know when I held you in my arms for the first time. You were only few months old. You used to hold this chain and always play with it. Your grandpa had given me this chain when I got married. Now i am giving you. Keep it safe.", Bua said her and caress her hairs.
