Manik shifts closer to her after dimming the lights and she shifts further.

He glares at her and she glares back pulling her jacket closer to her and pulling the blanket to cover herself.

"Fine",he said and went on to put a horror movie and smirked.

He sat back on the sofa a little closer to her and she narrowed her eyes at him.

The movie continued and nandini watched it focused expecting a thriller while manik laughed mentally waiting to see her expression.

Nandini picked a slice staring at the screen curious while manik kept his eyes focused on her.

She jumped in surprise seeing the first scare on the screen and manik laughed out loud seeing her dumbstruck.

She gave him a glare and put down the pizza as she threw a pillow at him.

"Nand..",his voice muffled up with the pillow on his face.

She kneeled on the sofa slapping his arms cursing him.

"Okay okay. Sorry",manik apologized with a smile and held her hand pulling her close to him.

"I said thriller.",Nandini said making a pout sitting beside him.

"You were sitting far.",Manik replied pointing towards the end of the sofa.

She glared at him.

"You made fun of me when I was close.",She said upset and he wraps his hand around her.

"I was trying to hide my nervousness.",manik confessed and she looked at him eyes wide.

"Really?",she asked and he nods.

She snuggled closer and manik plays the movie.

"I don't want to watch horror.",Nandini murmurs.

"You will be fine.",manik said kissing her forehead.

He was having fun having nandini hiding in his neck.

The character screams into the movie and nandini screams along making manik scared a little too.

He turns to her and rubs her shoulder pulling her close.

His hands moves down her back and she leans closer still watching the movie.

She felt his hands on her thigh and smiles inwardly.

He fists the cover she was wearing pulling it upwards and runs his fingers on her bare thigh making circles all the time keeping his attention on the screen.

She tilts her face to look at him and cuddles closer resting her head on his shoulder.

He pushes her hair back from her face and drops a light kiss on her head.

She chins up and presses her lips on his jaw.

"Manik",she whispers and he stares at her.

"Let's go to our room.",She suggested staring at him.

"Okay",he answers with a nod as he made eye contact with her.

She stood up and switched the tv off.

His phone rings and he frowns before picking up the phone.

"I will be there in a minute.",he whispers before kissing her lips and going to the backyard to talk.

She walks upstairs to their room and stands by the window staring at the beach and the moonlight.

Manik walks inside and puts his phone on the side table before walking close to nandini and wrapping his arms around her waist.
