10. Blush Crimson

Aisha had been dropped to 'ELITE' by the cab arranged by the hotel, specially for Aisha's transport but she had sent the cab back to the hotel as Kabir promised to drop her back without any inconvenience. Now that Aisha had no car, Kabir was her driver even to the stadium too.

They both sat in Kabir's car and Silence prevailed. The silence wasn't awkward. It was a comfortable one.

The deal with comfortable silence is that it really seems to tell you the level of comfort with the other person. Both of them had no intention to break the silence and yet they knew what the other person was thinking about.

Simple, today.

They both had a satisfied smile on their face as they entered the gates of the stadium. Aisha was a little nervous.

What would Kabir even say to his team-mates? How did he know her? Why was she suddenly 'special'? Why were they suddenly hanging out?

As if reading her thoughts, Kabir slipped his hand into hers and pulled her closer and slowly whispered into her ears," Relax Aish. I'll handle it."

Aisha suddenly had goosebumps all over with the new proximity. She blushed a deep red and gave a small nod. Kabir led her into the ground but as soon as they reached inside, he let go of her hand.

Aisha missed the warmth and couldn't help but speculate if he was embarrassed about both of them. She thought it would be too corny for her to ask about it that too so soon, but she anyways slipped her hands into his with a cute pout on her face.

Kabir let go of Aisha's hand then because he wasn't sure if Aisha would be okay with how everything was being processed so quick.

He didn't want to make her uncomfortable. When Aisha slipped her hand into his, he just thought about how he was over-thinking everything. He just had to relax a bit.

The practice had finished and the boys were freshening up. Aisha patiently waited for them to come out and in the mean time, she checked out the man sitting next to her.

"Done checking me out?"

"I really wasn't."

"Acha?" Kabir countered knowing exactly!

"H..haan" Aisha fumbled and blushed knowing she had been caught.

They were cribbing like kids when the team walked out of the dressing room.

"Hi Aisha! What a pleasant surprise."Ayush, another team member, the foody of the team, said.

"Hey Ayush. I was just hanging out with Kabir today and he asked me if I wanted to meet all of you. Obviously I couldn't say no!"

She then looked at Veer who was teasingly looking at Kabir, now knowing who Kabir had been talking about before. When Veer realised aisha was looking at him, he straightened himself and greeted her.

aisha squealed with excitement. Even though she saw him at the awards, she seemed to have lost the ability to control her emotions.

Everyone laughed at her reaction whereas kabir seemed a little jealous. "She never met me like that?" He thought.

After spending a little time with the team, aisha decided it would be best if she left for her hotel now. She asked kabir if they could go back and he obliged but he seemed distracted. She mentally noted to ask him later.

auyush said, "Keeshu? You agreed so quickly?You never listen to us that easily."

The team laughed at him making him embarrassed.
veer said, "Aur kya? You always give us orders and here you are taking them instead!"

"Haw bhai. Such a liar. When do I give you orders?"

"I am establishing context Keeshu. Your sense of humour is going from bad to worse with every day passing by" Veer tuanted.

Kabir was already a little angry and now he was just plain annoyed with all the teasing. He without realising, held Aisha's hand and went towards his car.

The team was in splits seeing Kabir's reaction to the teasing and all Aisha could do was, blush crimson!

The car ride seemed a little tense. So aisha asked," Kabir? Everything okay?"

"Yeah, perfect."

"You know you could share right? I mean if it's because I held your hand in the stadium. I am sorry. I just didn't know you would react this way."

Kabir cut her off, "of course not Aisha! It's just that, you seemed to give so much attention to everyone. You just immediately forgot about me!"

aisha tried to control her smile but Kabir looked so cute while complaining. She couldn't help but laugh at him as she pulled his cheeks.

Kabir looked at aisha laugh. What veer had told him about glancing at his family and forgetting his worries, Kabir too lived that for a second while looking at aisha. His worries and problems seemed fade away for a while.

They reached the hotel. Aisha asked him if he wanted to come inside to which Kabir said that it was late and he should be leaving now.

He got out of the passenger seat to say bye to her. She hugged kabir but this time it held different emotions than in the morning.

He hugged her back, closely. She whispered in his ears lightly," I really seem to like you Mr. Ahuja! I had told my self to take it slow, but you seem to be a difficult person to dislike."

Kabir smiled at her as they broke they broke the hug. He tucked a strand of hair behind her ears completely unaware of their surroundings, he kissed her on her forehead and said, "Feelings are mutual Ms. Sharma. Goodnight! I'll call you tomorrow."

That validation was enough to bring a smile to Aisha's face. Kabir sat back in his car, took one last glance at aisha and left.

aisha smiled to herself and went inside, completely unaware of the surroundings for the first time in a very long time. She reached her room and called Khushi.

"TELL US EVERYTHING, BITCH!" Screamed Sameer and Ranveer instead! Her best friends were so extra, she loved it!
