Shocking (Damian)

"Damian. Where do you get these upgrades?" Dick asks, shivering in the cold.

Damian shrugs, warm as can be, in his suit that you put a heating layer in.

"Oh come on. Alfred, Lucious, and Bruce have all said they don't, so who does them?" Jason adds.

Damian just shrugs and continues on his path for patrol.

After about half an hour they get word of a kidnapping of a girl from her home. They all arrive at the apartment and begin to look around.

"Guys! Come check this out!" Tim yells.

Jason, Dick, and Damian enter the room. Damian freezes the moment he recognizes the room. It's the only one in your house he has ever seen.

"This person is a absolute genius. No wonder they got targeted." Tim points out.

"Gotham Academy student though... Y/n Y/l/n. Same grade as you." Dick says while going through your things.

"Wait.." Tim looks up in realization, "She is your supplier."

Damian nods, "And it is my fault she got targeted. Someone had to have seen me with her at night."

"Don't do that." Jason says firm.

"We will find her. If she worked with you and made all that tech then I'm sure she left a clue or maybe even had cameras." Tim says and opens up the laptop on the bed.

After a few minutes, he gets in and smiles, "I was right. There are cameras in here. Now let's see...." Tim starts scrolling back and his face goes pail.

"What? What is it?" Damian asks getting worried.

Jason leans over and starts laughing, "Oh, he found out why you kept this such a secret. You two got it on."

"Not important! Who took her!" Damian shouts.

"Uh yea... uh.... Here! Riddler." Tim mumbles as he scrolls through, "last night, an hour after you left..."

"We have been tracking him fie months waiting for him to do something worthy of our involvement. Let's go." Dick says.

"You know where he is?" Jason asks.

"Only two possibilities. We check the closest one them move to the other one." Dick says and everyone nods.

After a quick search through the first one, they make their way to the second one only to find goons all over the place and all outer rooms with windows covered by three guards.

After a moment of debate, they sneak into the top floor and make their way down.

You are curled up quietly crying. If you are too loud you get a harsh shock you neck. And the room itself is one giant trap for Damian.

As the sound of thugs being knocked out gets closer you steal yourself.

All you need to do is say the word trap. He will get to you from there. He promised you would always be safe.

So when all four come into the doorway, you are surprised. With all the willpower you can muster up, you yell, "Traps!" Which is followed by a loud electric sound and you whimpering. 

Damian goes to run to you but Dick holds him back as Tim starts working through the traps.

After what seems like hours, you are untied and pulled into strong arms. The shock collar is unlocked and pulled off.

"Are you alright...? His men didn't hurt you? He didn't hurt you too badly..?" Damian asks softly.

You just snuggle into him and shake your head. Everything hurts from that shock.

"Let's get her to the cave. She needs to be looked over and watched after what happened." Dick says.

Damian nods and takes you with them.
