I looked at lei and she was silently cheering I laughed at her Ian know Mrs.G had it in her I mean I knew she was from the hood but I aint know she still had it in her with all that book smarts she got.
"Laiah go check on them and don't act like y'all ain't hear with y'all nosey asses" she said walking out the living room I looked over to my dad who was walking out the door I tapped lei leg for her to get up
"Where you going?" She asked I swear between her and Èire they just be wanting all my attention
"Bouta go check on pops stay here" I said getting up once she slid of my lap I walked out the door to see him on the porch smoking a blunt
"You good?" I asked walking over to him he nodded
"You sure" I asked
"Yeah folks don't phase me it's people who shot me for much less him yelling at shit trust but I ain't finna sit in someone's house where I ain't wanted outta respect though... wanna got this?" He asked giving me the blunt I accepted putting it to my lips inhaling the smoke I closed my eyes letting the weed do it's thang
"Damn son it ain't going no where" he laughed
"I know I just haven't smoked in so long since lei can't be around that stuff" I said shrugging

"Is this shit legit? Like is you and this girl really toge.." he stopped talking when the front door opened revealing a pissed off G followed by a panicked Mrs.G
"Bitch you got my Grand Daughter" G more so stated walking up to my dad swinging on him my dad dodge his hit swinging back
"Bitch where my grand daughter at" he yelled
