NamJoon unlocked the door of Manuel's apartment and entered slowly, finding himself in that space for the second time in his life.

He had come to see the scene once even though his coworkers had already run the procedures and had searched the place. Back then he just wanted to get the feel of it and have an optical image in his head of how the murder was committed but today he had come for another reason.

The notes he read on Manuel's phone had perplexed him, as even though they were random and everyday reminders, he had noticed a pattern that was repeated. The word read was in all of them, in the same position.

"Third row, third word," NamJoon mumbled to himself as he looked around, in search of something that had rows that he could check. The first thing that got his attention was the library and he approached it while grabbing form his pocket some gloves, to not mess up any fingerprints that the objects contained around.

He took his sweet time checking the books on the third row but he found nothing out of place in them and that made him a bit frustrated. Enough to ruffle his hair before exhaling heavily, then he stood up and took a second look around, trying to find more shelves that had three rows.

He was focused on his task till his phone rang and he retrieved it from his pocket, a bit startled by the sudden buzzing however once he saw that it was just one of his coworkers, he decided to not answer the call.

Aish, I thought it was Jimin again.

He thought as just some minutes before arriving at Manuel's apartment, he had called him, telling him about your request and where you needed him to focus on his search related to the case of MinHee.

He was perplexed to be honest, as even though he might be able to get the information needed, it was still too much of a time gap and that meant that many people will be involved. TaeYong meets thousands every day. That was the main reason he asked you to send him a clear written report when you get the time so he can see your reasoning clearly and maybe even find something more on his own.

He stood there for a minute then decided to head to the kitchen as there was bound to be many shelves but as soon as took two steps, he halted his movements as a thought struck him.

3  3  33  third row..third pair?

He questioned as his mind had suddenly gone to shoes and then he hurried to find the place where Manuel used to leave his shoes. It took him a while to find the shelf but once he opened it, his eyes immediately fell on the Jordan black colored shoes that had painted on them the number 33 with white color.

Namjoon smiled as he took the pair out to examine them closely being sure that this was what he was looking for since the shoes were in the third row and also the third pair in line.

Of course, the dude knows how to hide things well.

He thought as at first glance nothing was wrong with the shoes, making him go to the kitchen and grab a knife to mess with them a bit. So what if he was to damage them anyways, their owner wasn't going to wear them again.

After some minutes of struggling and careful cats, he managed to take of the insole and as he was suspecting he found there a piece of paper, waiting to be discovered. NamJoon didn't hesitate to take it off and open the folded paper that held some numbers that at first glance would look random but the longer he kept observing them, the more familiar they looked.

"You must be kidding me!"

He spoke to himself as he took his phone out of his pocket and placed the numbers on the search engine, hoping for his thoughts -of them being some coordinates that would give him an address- to be proven right, and he was, however, he still got surprised by the fact that the address was indeed a familiar place.

"Eden Club!?" He murmured to himself before deciding to visit the club Jimin used to work to.

---Time skip---

TaeYong was signing some paper on his office when LeeGuk entered his office, him having returned from the meeting he had with you.

"You won't believe where I was at and with who." He smiled while he approached his desk and TaeYong didn't bother to look up at him whatsoever.

"I don't care where you were, I care where you should have been. Since when do you think it's proper to leave while on working hours?" He showed his unpleasantness towards his action with those few words and LeeGuk just placed his arms on his desk and cupped his hands under his chin to support his face, while he stared at him, till he gives him the attention he was requiring.

"Fine. Continue looking at your papers and ignore my beautiful face, which your wife was seeing about an hour ago or so."

"Y/N??" TaeYong finally lifted his gaze to meet his and LeeGuk smirked in satisfaction of getting his attention finally.

"Why did she come to see you?"

"Well, I could answer this in two ways. A funny one and a serious one. Which one would you like?"

"Get to the point." TaeYong glared at him, finding his playful mood something he was in no condition to tolerate at that moment.

"The funny one was really good though but sure as you wish. " LeeGuk rolled his eyes at him, unamused at his behavior then he stood up and looked around, to make sure that the environment was safe for him to get serious.

"She is really skilled but I think you are in trouble. I am not sure why or how, but her attention is currently on your past history with women." He told him, now his face containing no hint of playfulness as he wanted for TaeYong to understand immediately where his worry laid.

"What? Why would she?" TaeYong showed his perplexed thoughts on his face as his mind shifted from work to scenarios of why would that bring you any benefit and what could have possibly made you look after that.

"Some gossiping between women about your past drew her attention and she seems to be very suspicious about a specific time frame." LeeGuk sat down again and leaned closer to a TaeYong who was now paying full attention to him.

"She is after you and if that policeman friend of Jimin is also involved and he is helping her as I suspect..we may be in danger." He admitted as he had a good grasp of the situation as well as what consequences would follow for TaeYong if the truth was to be revealed but at the same time, he liked to believe that she wouldn't let it get to that point because it as not to her benefit either.

"Fear not. I will have her soon enough. I am not gonna let her reach there." TaeYong stated as his eyes showed a clear determination to stop you from digging his past.

"I will throw a party at my house tomorrow night. Invite all you judge fitting and inform them of the dress code."

"Excuse me? Why would you do that so suddenly?" LeeGuk questioned as his actions seemed not appropriate for the situation that they were in, nor he seemed to be taking his words alarmingly as he thought that he would.

"Don't question me. This time, I got this. Just trust me." He replied in a serious tone and LeeGuk couldn't help but feel the change in the atmosphere as he looked at his eyes.

A gaze he had seen before but never particularly liked, mostly because whenever he was to have that, his behavior and actions tended to get a bit less human. A bit less merciful. And at that moment, he couldn't help but feel a bit scared for your sake.

Just what was he planning exactly?
