"We've to save Nari- we don't have time left"
"Mark and Chenle can go"
Jisung shook his head in disapproval to Jaemin's words.

"Yena needs—"
"No, it's okay"
Yena shared a look with Chenle before looking back at Jisung.

"Please save her, Jaehwa can't loose her too"
Yena said earning a small nod from Jisung in agreement.

"We'll leave then"
Mark motioned Chenle to join him before walking away from the others.

Chenle stood up, glancing at the girl one last time- concerned to leave her alone yet he had no other choice.

Jisung noticed him getting worried and gave him a nod assuringly before Chenle head out of the hospital, following the elder out.

"Patient Mir—"
Yena instantly stood up, stepping forward towards the doctor.

"Just loss of consciousness cause of increased lactate levels"
"I must say she was close to being cyanide poisoned"
"She's out of danger, you can visit her now"
With that said, the doctor exited the room.

Yena leant against the wall, her hand on her heart as she shut her eyes close- relief washing over her that her friend was safe and sound.

"Go in"
Donghyuck pointed at the door, signaling Yena to visit her friend and nodding, she walked inside.

"Miri..."
Yena let out, approaching the girl who had the oxygen mask covering her mouth as Miri let her eyes slowly set on the nearing girl.

Pulling out the oxygen mask, she spoke.
"Yena-"
Her voice extremely soft and low, almost inaudible and Yena leant closer to hear her better.

"How are you now Mi?"
"Better"
Yena gave her a smile making her return a weak one to her.

"Thanks babe, you saved me"
"I didn't, they did"
Yena pointed towards the door where the boys were clearly in visibility.

"You shouldn't have eaten those stupid apricot kernels"
"Hey! I love food but who knew it would lead to all of this??"
"True.. I'm glad you're safe"
"Thanks Yena"
Miri held onto her hand, giving her a smile.

"Does that mean Nari was targeted?"
Yena gave her a nod making her eyes widen.

"Save my sis Yena, please. Jaehwa already doesn't have her dad, please babe"
Miri tightened her grip on Yena's hand.

"Don't worry Mi. Chenle and Mark are there to save her, she'll stay safe"
Yena squeezed her hand reassuringly and the girl noticeably calmed down.

"Choi Nari?"
"Yes, you are..?"
Nari paused looking at the two at her doorstep.

"Officers from Ulsan"
Mark showed his identity card and she raised a brow.

"Do you have anything to do with me?"
Mark was about to speak but Chenle interrupted.

"You're not going to keep us standing here are you?"
"Oh sorry.. come in"
Nari opened the door wide and the two stepped in and got seated on the couch.

"You must've known about the crimes in Ulsan"
Nari gave him a nod as he continued.

"You keep getting those boxes from an anonymous don't you?"
"How do you know?"
"Your sister, Miri is hospitalized cause of that"
"What?! When—"
"Please listen to us first, she's safe, don't worry"
Despite being worried about her sister, she gave them a nod.

"Any suspects of who you could be receiving those from?"
"No, the boxes are placed outside my door every weekend and Miri picks them up every time"
Mark gave a nod, taking note of her words and Chenle began speaking.

"You work in Research lab right?"
"Yes"
"Do you happen to know Song Minhee or Lee Mansoo?"
Nari immediately tensed up hearing those names.

"W-What? I don't!"
"We can see through your lies, tell us the truth"
Nari sighed out and just when she was about to speak someone walked into the hall, running towards Nari.

"Mommy, who?"
"Jaehwa go sleep, mommy is talking something important, okay?"
"No mommy! Jaehwa want to play!"
"Jaehwa—"
Mark stood up walking to the girl before holding his hand out with a smile on his face as he looked at four year old girl.

"Let's play?"
Jaehwa's face brightened and giving him a nod she held onto his big hands before he guided her out of the hall, leaving Chenle with Nari.

"Tell us the truth, don't hide"
"And why? Give me a reason why I should say the tru—"
"If you insist, fine then. You're the killer's target- tonight he's planning on—"
"Fine! I'll tell!"
Chenle scoffed at her idiocy and she began speaking.

"Lee Mansoo is my husband. We divorced last year cause of personal issues and later he found Minhee, claiming she was his girlfriend. I have no idea why the killer targeted the two"
"So Mansoo is Jaehwa's biological father?"
Nari gulped down her fear before shaking her head in response and the boy was slightly taken aback.

"What?"
"He isn't her father, we were forced to get married cause of our parents"
"Then who's the father?"
"I.... I don't know his name"
She held her head low, facing the ground feeling disgusted by her own self as tears pricked her eyes.

"Sorry?"
Chenle furrowed his brows, utterly confused by her words.

"Jaehwa was an accident,"
"I was sexually assaulted"
