The meeting ended soon after the leader made his decision. My dinner got served to me while someone was bandaging up my leg, as a type of distraction from the pain. He said I have broken it in 2 places and I will be lucky if I can run again but good news for my 2 broken ribs there going to heal quickly. He said im going to get crutches made out of bamboo to help me walk for the first few days then I would have to try and walk by myself.
I was alone in my room again, the sun had gone behind the walls and darkness took over the land, I had a big window to the right side of my bed so I could see the peaceful place. Everyone else seemed to go to bed early but I wasn't ready to let my guard down and sleep. I'm terrified that someone will sneak into my room and kill me or send me out to the maze though I just sound like a paranoid crazy person.
My eyes were shutting more by the minute . I had no energy left, I was an empty bottle. There was pain everywhere but I didn't care. I couldn't let my guard down and sleep, sleep was giving myself up and I'm not going to go without a fight.
Then my eyes slowly closed.
