"Why do you need my help exactly? And can't go to Aria or Hanna to?"
"Outside the grill. There's security cameras right?"
"Ya, why?"
"That's where Toby and I were when he was.."
"Oh."
"Ya."
"So, you want me to hack in to the grill's security cameras?"
"Yes."
"To find out who shot him."
"Yes."
"Okay then. Let's get to work."
At the hospital:
A nurse was checking Toby's vitals when his eyes fluttered open.
"Oh my god." She said as she started running different test.
"Don't close your eyes. Try and keep them open."
He looked around the room like he'd never seen the world before.
"We need a Dr. in here!" The nurse yelled out the door.
A Dr. ran into the room and to the side of his bed.
"Um, go call his friend. I made a promise that if anything happened she'd be the first to know."
The nurse ran out the door so she could supposably call me.
Back at Caleb's apartment:
My phone buzzed in my back pocket and I was really curious why.
"Is that Hanna?"
"No.."
He sat back against the computer chair.
"Who is it?"
"It's the hospital."
"Well, answer it."
"Hello?"
"He's awake." The nurse said.
I hung up my phone, grabbed my purse and ran out the front door.
I know short chapter. But I have a serious case of writers block. Sorry for all the late updates. Just try and be patient with me. For now at least.
