Spencer's POV:

Everyone piled into the car to take me to the airport. Surprisingly Toby included.

I sat in the passenger seat and he held my hand the entire drive there.
He got out and helped me get my luggage as I hugged the girls and everyone else goodbye.

"Well.." I rocked back and fourth on the heels of my feet.

Awkwardly.

He wrapped me in his arms.

"Have a safe flight."

"Thanks."

"I'll call you when I get in."

"Alright."

He walked around and got back into the car and I watched him drive off.

'What the hell happened to I love you?' I thought.

At the gate:

I walked to my gate and almost boarded my plane. Until I heard my name being called behind me.

"Spencer! Spencer!" The voice said.
I turned in circles and I saw Toby running towards me.

"What are you doing?" I yelled at him.

"I'm not letting you go anywhere."

"You said that before. But how did you get past security?"

"I'm going with you. To talk to your mom. I don't care how or why or when but your coming back."
I wrapped my arms around his neck.

"This is the last boarding call for flight 469 to Indiana." The female voice on the intercom said.

"Well what are we waiting for?" I asked grinning.

He picked up his duffle bag and followed me on to the plane.

"My mom is going to kill the both of us." I said sitting down.

"Nah, I wouldn't let her." He smiled plopping down next to me.

I laughed.

"Besides, I'd arrest her if she tried."

"Hmmm..I love you." I smiled and wrapped my arms around his torso and laid my head on his chest.

"I love you too." And he kissed my forehead.

"Spence, Spence." Toby shook me awake.

"Hmm.."

"Were here."

"Oh, okay."

We both took our seat belts off and stood up. I stretched while Toby got our luggage down.

"You ready?" He asked.

"Yep." I nodded.

He went to grab my hand but I yanked away.

"Sorry, I'm just..."

"It's okay." He gave me a small smile.

I smiled back and took his hand as we walked off the plane.
There stood my mom waiting for me.

"Spencer!" She ran over to me.

"Toby, I didn't expect you here too."

"Ya, um I actually needed to speak to you. It's important."

"Oh, you couldn't tell me over the phone?"

"Mom!" I yelled without caring about the glare I got back from her.

"Um..no actually this is, something I need to tell you in person."

"Well alright then, how about we all stop for coffee and we can talk."

"Sounds good." I breathed out.
This conversation hadn't gotten terrible yet.

We all sat down in the corner of a nearby coffee shop and Toby explained our situation.

"Mrs. Hastings, you see things have been difficult for Spencer and I."

"Talk about hell." I jumped in.

He shot me a look and I shrugged with a 'you know it's true look'.

"Anyway what I'm trying to say is. I'm in love with your daughter." He smiled at me.

"Toby I know." She patted his knee.

"But why'd you come all the way here to tell me that." She took a sip of her herbal green tea.

"He didn't. He came here to tell you something else. That would change both of our lives. Well not just both but all of our lives..."

"Forever." He finished my sentence.
