Chapter 7

Toby's POV:
"So why am I here exactly?" I asked her plopping down on the couch.
"I don't know I was bored."
"Oh." I just nodded as my reply.
"What do you not want to be here?" She said standing up.
"No,no I do,I do. It's just a bit weird though."
"Bit weird how?"
"Spencer were not together anymore."
"So."
"So."
"Soooo. That doesn't mean we can't try to be friends."
"Friends." I said unsurely and gave her a weird look across my face.
"Yes friends or nothing at all." A ding came from the kitchen "Oh popcorns done!"
'Friends' I thought. That meant no holding hands. No kissing. No hugging. No intimate intercourses. No touching at all. Everything was banned.
She came back over with a huge bowl of popcorn.
"So?" She said placing it in my hands.
"Friends."
"Yea!" She said and clapped her hands and I shoved a hand full of popcorn in my mouth.
yea me! I thought to myself.
Next day:
"Hey guys."
"Wo back away from Spencer before I break your arm off." Aria said lunging at me.
"Hey calm down geez, did you not tell them?" I said pushing her back gently.
"Not yet." Spencer said.
"Toby and I have decide to be friends."
"Friends." Aria said smiling.
"Pa-leas." Hanna said holding a fingernail file up to her nail.
"Okay y'all are just jealous I can keep up a friendship with an ex-boyfriend."
"I give it a week at the most." Hanna said.
"I'm staying out of y'all's dirty cat fights." Aria said strutting off down the hall towards Ezra's classroom.
I let out a small laugh.
"And what happens if I win?"
"Hmmm. Can't it wait until I win?" She leaned against the lockers messing up her back curls.
"Nope, front and center.....NOW! Hanna Marin!"
"Okay geez no need to scream at me."
"You have to pay for my next full salon trip. Tip included."
"Deal."
"And if you win." She raised her eyebrow.
"Pay for the extra toppings on my pizza. Oooo and a dvd rental. If I'm going to be a winner might as well do it with Jake Gyllenhaal.
"Your so easy." She smirked and walked away.
"Whatever!" I shouted after her.
"I didn't hear that!" She said back and waved one hand in the air.
