Chapter 24

I laid in between the cotton sheets while looking into Toby's eyes.
"I love you." I said while moving a piece of sweaty hair out of his face.
"I love you too." He said back and kissed my forehead then wrapped his arms around me pulling me to his chest.
"Oh I'm soooo going to ruin this moment." He said.
"Why?"
"We're going to be late."
"Late for what?" I asked while playing with his fingers.
"Late for school."
"School?" I almost yelled.
"Yes school. Spence it's Monday."
"What!"
"Toby why didn't you tell me yesterday was Sunday?"
"I assumed you knew."
"I haven't done the early assignments."
"Spencer your fine. You've done the same work I have."
"Fine." I said sticking out my bottom lip.
At Rosewood High School:
I sat down in the back row in between Toby and Hanna with Aria in front of me like always but Caleb was on the other side of the room ever since him and Hanna split.
I looked over at her with sympathetic eyes.
"It's fine." She said and shrugged it off.
After class was over Toby went off the Spanish and promised to meet up with me and the girls for lunch.
Next class is dreadful bio with Alison.
"Hi Spencer." She said as she sat in the chair next to me.
"Alison."
"Looks like we're lab partners."
"Greaaat" I said while plastering a fake smile on my face.
The next hour and a half was hell sort of.
I ran out of the classroom as soon as the bell rang almost breaking a beaker full of hot water. But I didn't care.
"What took so long?" Toby asked me as I ran into his arms out of breath.
"Alison......lab....partners......almost..........broke..a....beaker......can't...breath."
I said and bent down putting my hands on my knees.
"I think she'll live though." Aria said patting me on the back.
"But that bitch better stay away from me and everyone I care about." I said shaking my head.
"Do you guys just want to take the rest of the day off?" Toby suggested.
"I'm game." Hanna said.
"Sure."
The Hastings Household:
"What are we suppose to do now?" I crossed my arms and plopped down on the couch next to Toby.
He put his finger under my chin and turned my head towards him.
"Um we could do this." He said and connected our lips together.
"Or this." I mumbled against his lips as I slid underneath him and wrapped my arms around his neck. We both couldn't help but laugh.
He let go and placed a kiss on my forehead then on my nose.
"I love you so much." He said hovering over me still.
"I love you too."
"And we all love each other. I'm just glad y'all are dressed." Aria said standing against the door frame.
"You couldn't call first." I said.
"Well I didn't think you two would be sucking each other's faces out on the couch."
"Ew. Aria that sounds just plain gross." I said.
"That's what y'all look like. So basically I told you so." Hanna said walking in her sweats and messy hair with no makeup.
Aria walked in the kitchen to go make coffee like usual of course.
"Hanna what are you wearing?"
"I'm too depressed to work a zipper Spencer get over it."
"Alright chill."
"So Toby have you talked to you know who?" She said crossing her arms.
"No, not since I was told not to speak to him." He said putting his arm around me.
"Here fresh coffee." Aria said walking in with a whole pot.
"I don't think I've ever seen you in sweats before." Aria said.
Hanna went to open her mouth.
"She can't work a zipper let's just move on."
Aria just nodded.
"So have you even spoken to Caleb?"
"No. I don't want to talk about him."
"Wait before that what did he do exactly?" Toby butted in.
I turned and looked at him with the what the hell is wrong with you look.
"I caught him flirting with that Britt chick. Then when I called him out on it he kept denying and denying it. And it turned into this big argument." She sniffled.
"I now I'm pretty sure we've broken up."
"I thought you were broken up the whole time? I honestly don't know what to do with either of you." I said scooting over into Toby's lap.
"Well then I think we sure go have a talk with her. Today." I said.
Aria rolled her eyes at me.
"Han what do you think about all of this?"
"God you sound like Dr. Sullivan. Pleasing the psychotic as you go."
"Hanna." Aria said startled at her behavior.
"What its not like you weren't thinking it."
"Do you want me to talk to him?" Toby asked.
"No I'll do it it time to put this two timer to justice." Hanna said.
