I do my hair toss check my nails,
Baby how you feeling?
Feeling good as hell. 〰️ Lizzo.

                                                        ⚫⚫⚫

I watched as all the men who were in the building were taking out in cuffs. Buffie who had become a friend that I definitely wouldn't be forgetting soon was bundled out. I walked up to him and put a hand on his shoulder.

"I'll be paying you a little visit soon," I whispered in his ear and felt him shiver. "Don't think I've forgiven your debts just like that. I'll come for my payment either here or in hell you will pay your debts." I stepped back and gave him a nod clutching onto my shoulder. He was taken out and I had to explain to the millions of medics who came telling me that I needed to be examined that I was fine.

Despite it seemed like it was over I couldn't help but feel wary. Everything felt out of place like it was all staged. This wasn't how this should have ended. It wasn't supposed to end this easily with everyone walking out themselves there should have been a whole lot more bloodshed than this and most importantly...

I should have died.

"Addison, you can't hug her too tightly what if you drain all the remaining air in her lungs?" Julianna admonished her voice quivering slightly despite her attempt to make a joke. She took steady steps forward before pulling me into a hug of her own. She pulled back and looked at my face running her hand all over it trying to ascertain if I was real or not. She was trying to be strong but I didn't miss the sob that passed through her lips as she held onto me like she was clinging onto dear life. "I thought I had lost you." I chuckled as I awkwardly patted her back.

"Get off me will you."

She narrowed her eyes at me pulling an irritable look on her face before she stepped away from me and looked behind her with a small smile on her face.

"Sisi," I almost choked as I heard my name from his mouth. He was actually here he had come despite everything he had come and he was standing in front of me right now he didn't hate me despite it all.

Too bad the feeling wasn't mutual.

He took cautious steps towards me and made to hold me but stopped like he was asking for permission. When I didn't object because I was still in shock he let his hands wound around my waist pulling me against him like I was a fragile object that he was scared he would break if he applied too much pressure. He had one hand on the small of my back and the other on my back to hold me firmly against him. I found my eyes flutter close in content as I allowed my hands to intertwine themselves behind his neck.

No!

My eyes snapped open and before I knew what was happening I was shoving him backward away from me. I couldn't see him like that he was my friend I couldn't be having these feelings. Feelings made you weak they made you vulnerable I had been betrayed many times in my life to know that this wouldn't work out sooner or later he would mess up or I would mess up. I wasn't a good person I had never been and the chances that I would be were ranging from a zero to nothing. This wouldn't last good things never lasted for bad people.

Ian needed to get his shit together and find someone who deserves him. He had the right to be happy but why did the thought of him with someone else stab my already bleeding heart. "If you call me that again I swear I'll hurt you," I whispered harshly. I had said it to him a million times already but I knew that something in my voice confirmed all the thoughts he must have been having since our last conversation. He thought that I hated him.
