Can we pretend that airplanes in the night sky,
Were like shooting stars I could really use a wish right now.〰️ Hayley Williams

"What..." I started unsure of what to say. "What is this place." I gasped.

It was... it was... beautiful.

It was like a cliff and if you looked down there was a waterfall and it had the best view ever since it was the evening we were just in time to watch the sunset. The view was incredible it was like all the forces of nature combined to make a beautiful mess. The sky was like a messy splash of colors on an artist's canvas.

Remember how I said I was terrible at explaining things... exactly what I said was nothing compared... it served no form of justice whatsoever to this amazing, glorious sight it was basically eye food.

"What do you think?" He asked backing towards the waterfall and stretching both his hands out. He was so close to the edge that if he took one step backward he would fall to his possible death don't mind me I like to exaggerate things and though a part of me was really tempted to give him a little poke so I could clarify if he could survive the fall... I resisted.

"Welcome to my favorite place." He smirked watching as my dropped jaw never rose.

"This has to be the quietest place on earth." And I wasn't joking there were literally no sounds except from the sounds from the waterfall there were no birds or anything just deafening silence and... it was peaceful I felt myself relax for the first time in a long time.

"I come here to unwind all the time." He shrugged.

"It's so peaceful, so beautiful, so unreal," I said still taking it all in with awe. "I've never seen anything like it before... and that view." I whistled and Ian just watched me in amusement.

"You could watch the sunset and sunrise any day." I felt his breath on my neck and I knew he was close... dangerously close we should, if my calculations were correct, only be a few inches away from each other.

"I'm sure this is where you and the guys come whenever you want to be alone," I said turning around to face him but his intense grey eyes searched my hazel ones, my guards were down and I didn't need him seeing my emotions.

"On the contrary..." he said pulling my face upwards to stare at him. His piercing grey eyes piercing into my soul. I was so tempted to smack his hands away but somehow I managed to stop myself. "...no one knows I come here not even the boys they don't know about this place, no one... well except you." He stated before turning away.

"Why not." I inquired with furrowed brows I thought they were best friends and all knew each other's secrets.

"They could ruin it for me." He shrugged. I frowned how could he say that I mean I was mean (see what I did there) but that was taking mean to the freaking next level. It was like taking her on a first date and then moving all the way to freaking second base.

"That's a pretty mean thing to say," I said walking a little to stretch my legs and also increase the distance between us because somehow I didn't trust myself around him.

"Coming from you... it must be." I heard him laugh.

"I'll be back in a minute." I thought I heard but I didn't even look around I just kept my face straight watching the view there was a waterfall and I wondered if we'd ever get the chance to go into the water.
