"Why weren't you in school yesterday." A very annoyed-looking Addison snapped looking like she was more than prepared to also snap my head off.

I looked at her calmly over my burger. She held the gaze but after a while, her glare faltered and she starting shifting uneasily in her seat while I returned to my burger.

As you can guess we were at the cafeteria and luckily enough the boys weren't here for whatever reason so we had the table all to ourselves.

Her head suddenly snapped up to me. "Don't think you can just intimidate me you owe me an explanation." She looked more confident than she actually was but it was nice to know that she had a backbone.

"Ian was over at my place on Sunday and I guess we just lost track of time," I replied easily in some sort of explanation taking another bite. But when I looked back at her she kept looking at me like she was expecting something.

"What?" I snapped impatiently getting uncomfortable with her gaze.

"Did you both sleep in the same room?"

"Well yes because my Abuela lost the-"

"And you both slept on the same bed?"

"Yes," I frowned. "There's only one bed in my room but that was also only because my Abuela lost the-"

"And..." She said using her hands to urge me to go on.

"And what?" I said shaking my head still not getting it. "You won't even let me finish talking."

"And..." She went on ignoring me nodding and twitching her neck that I was scared it would fall off and then it finally hit me.

"Addison not you too." I sighed dropping the burger on my plate. "Nothing happened," I assured her. All through the rest of Monday when Ian had dropped me off at home my Abuela had teased me about it non stop and like that wasn't enough most of the night Dallas had also teased me about it like get a life, people.

"So what you mean to say..." She said racking her brain like she was doing some intense math calculation. "That you and Ian... Ian Reid slept in the same bed and nothing happened." She said in disbelief.

"Precisely."

She didn't look like she believed it. "Just curious..." She said casually shrugging. "Why are you wearing a turtle neck." She muttered before looking away in the opposite direction and it was very clear what she was trying to imply.

"Addison Matilda March," I said calling out her name. "Read my lips... Nothing. Happened."

"Nothing at all."

"For the millionth time yes... now give it a rest," I exclaimed in exasperation.

"Ian Reid..." she continued causing me to sigh. "The same one we know or there's another one."

"Addison," I warned but she just ignored me.

"Take a fucking look at my neck there is no damn hickey," I said dragging down the turtle neck so she got a clear view of both sides of my neck. She nodded but still looked conflicted. "Do you also want a peek at my boobs to assure you?" This got a few glances at our table but we both ignored it as she finally nodded in acceptance.
