"Hey, you guys wanna go out?" Addison asked rubbing her hands together as she stared between us. I raised an eyebrow at her before shrugging my shoulder as I switched my phone off and got up eagerly, going out meant getting food so I was in.

"Sure, where to?" I asked looking beside me at the figure sprawled next to me.

She took a deep breath and shrugged casually. "Oh you know, the store."

Surely she must mean the grocery store. "What are we shopping for?"

"Prom dresses." She quickly said as she turned away from me. I felt all the air in my lungs leave me as I stared at her in disbelief.

"Well, this should be fun." Julianna smiled as she sat up dropping her phone carelessly beside her as she rubbed her hands together. I stared at her in betrayal, she was meant to be on my side.

I watched on as she stood up, did a quick stretch and took a place beside Addison as they held their hands to their waist waiting for me and I just knew there was no getting out of this.

I got up hesitantly and stretched before staggering backward a bit as my hand went up quickly to clutch my head. Julia and Addison looked between themselves in panic before looking back at me.

"What's the matter?"

I held onto the edge of the bed as I tried to balance myself as a hand still had a strong grip on my head. "Yeah, you guys might have to go without me I think I'm coming down with something I don't feel so good." They straightened up and rolled their eyes.

"Oh really?" I nodded my head frantically. "And what is that, pray tell?"

"Shopomania." They looked at each other and burst out laughing and I felt red. "It's actually a real word, don't look it up because it's totally real."

"You don't mean it." I sighed as I let out an exaggerated cough and nodded.

"I really do... so I'm just going to-" I was cut off mid-sentence as I tried to lie back on the bed.

"Oh no you don't," Addison muttered as she pulled me away from the bed and towards the door that the major betrayer Julia had opened.

"Save me," I not so playfully yelled. "Somebody... anybody please rescue me." She tapped the back of my head and I scowled at her before pulling myself free and adjusting my hair. "I can walk on my own thank you very much."

She laughed as we stepped out of the house and I locked the door behind me. We stood for a bit for a while before my eyes caught something flashy. "Whoa, sweet ride."

She scratched the back of her head awkwardly. "It's Aiden's..." she confessed as she walked around the bright red car that stood out in the streets. "He just got it and he made me swear that I wouldn't touch it but I needed something to get here with because I didn't have money for uber-"

"But you have money to go prom dress shopping?"

"That's completely different from this so anyways-"
