"Hey." I heard the deep calm voice call behind I turned around and came face to face with Ian.

"Oh hey," I said back dryly turning around and stuffing my last book into my locker taking my chemistry and math textbook, and slamming my locker shut to turn around to face him again.

"So you wanna come by my place later." He said easily pushing himself off the locker beside my locker when he saw that I had started walking away.

"No," I replied just as easily.

He blinked. Paused and blinked again. "What?"

I was a bit amused by his reaction he certainly wasn't expecting that. "I said no." Standing in the parking lot of our school and waiting for Dallas who was sure taking his precious time.

"I know... how." He said incredulously as his eyes narrowed at something on the ground.

"Its easy you open your mouth and-"

"Shut up." He snapped interrupting me from whatever I was about to say and I smirked at him.

"No really." He said unbelievably hoping I'd change my mind.

I sighed and leaned against Dallas' car it was in times like this I wished I had taken my driving lessons seriously, he clearly wasn't used to rejections.

"I know... my answers still no," I said looking and hoping to find Dallas walking towards us so I could get out of there.

"Why not you could meet my brothers." He tried to reason.

"I'll pass," I said rolling my eyes and leaning against the car.

"And my sister."

I looked at him and said nothing deciding to think it over maybe that wasn't such a bad idea but just when I was about to reply.

"I have a highly stocked up pantry." My eyes widened in shock no he did not just pull that card on me. That was nasty and thoughtless how did they even know my major weakness was pastries I had never mentioned it and now they've all basically used that piece of information for their own selfish needs.

Struggling to give the impression that I wasn't in the least bit impressed by the pantry. I asked in the most uncaring tone I could manage.

"Your little sister... right," I said cocking my head and trying my best to keep up my nonchalant look.

He smirked catching on to my little act but playing along. "Yes."

I sighed again for what seemed like the millionth time. "Pick me up at five," I said when I saw Dallas walking up to his car giving me an apologetic grin

"Why don't I just follow you home you get ready and we'll go together." He reasoned dangling his car keys in his hands.

I eyed Dallas when he got closer to us shooting daggers at him I had no idea what he was always doing in school it closed about 30 minutes ago.

"I don't know how old is she anyway," I asked to reason if it was really worth it. Pantry though.

"Ten." That was about the same age as Mateo.

The horn blared beside us causing me to jump lightly resulting in Dallas rubbing the arm I'd punched him on.

"Deal," I said waving at Dallas who was glaring at me.

When I saw Ian's car my mouth dropped, I mean it made Dallas' Volkswagen golf look like shit.

It was a blue Maserati Grancabrio the latest model if I may add, the interior was white and posh, and the seats... goddamn the seats were fricking original Italian leather, all-round it was simply to die for and I can't believe I'm saying this but I was mind blown even I didn't have one of those in my collection and I owned a freaking ranch.
