"So class your assignment today is to pick a country any country of your choice at all and do your research." The language teacher seemed to be saying. What does that even have to do with language shouldn't that be like history or something.

"Find out everything about them... their culture, food, way of life and so on... everything and you will present it orally by our next class." He finished before turning around to scribble something on the board.

I wasn't entirely paying attention because Aiden kept tapping me to ask every single thing the teacher.

"Mi casa está muy grande.(my house is very big.)" *tap tap* "Ok so what does that mean." He truly did suck in his Spanish because that was literally the easiest thing... ever I'm not even kidding you."If you tap me one more time God help me I will-"

"Oh boy... this should suck." Aiden drawled out beside me dragging me out of my thoughts and causing me to face him. This made the students to crack up because they laughed like what he'd said was the funniest thing on the planet.

The teacher turned around and narrowed his eyes on him. I caught glimpse of Addison with her facepalming none stop while shaking her head Ian, Cody, and Dallas on the other hand immediately after burst out laughing.

I'm guessing at first the teacher wanted to ignore his comment but the way the boys were laughing so hard made his frown to deepen even more until it was just a straight thin line. But what he said next actually shocked me.

"On the contrary Mr. March... it's actually going to be an opportunity for you all to explore diverse cultures and learn new things." He said trying to keep his voice as calm and leveled as could be but I could see the veins popping in his head and even the steam from his ears and I knew it took a lot of counting to ten to get to not giving Aiden detention or something worse.

You see Aiden had been getting on his nerve ever since class started. I guess he just had a problem with languages even Cody hadn't said a word, that scared me because I thought the problem would be with him, sure he poked me a few times and pulled the hair at the back of my neck but he seemed to be paying close attention which surprised me honestly.

"Yeah, that's what I said... boring." He said and yawning to add extra effect causing the class again to erupt in laughter.

He adjusted his glasses and chose to ignore him this time as he looked away and continued what he was saying before Aiden had interrupted him.

"This project will be shared among you all in pairs so as to make it a bit more interesting." He stressed out the last part for emphasis while his eyes were narrowed at Aiden warningly but Aiden just scoffed, smirked, and shrugged it off casually.

"First pair James and Danielle." I looked at the girl who was meant to be Danielle and saw she was a redhead with green eyes and I caught glimpse of the tips of her ear go slightly red as she sunk into her hoodie... love... what a sick, disoriented feeling I thought turning back around to face the teacher.

"Cody and Dallas." I watched them high five each other. "Aiden you will not be paired with your sister because she files the same report every single time she turns in your homework. She claims that you do not participate in your group work which isn't hard to believe because... well we all saw your display earlier." His frown returning slightly.
