We heard the door open " honey I'm homeee!" Mariah yelled and came to the living room . " girl why are you here " I laughed .
" I came to get na na , she going dog shopping with me " she sat down next to keoni .
" you know we got practice right ?" . I had went back to the wnba when the girls were 15 and been doing good ever since .
" yeah I know ..but me and Madison want a dog sooo .." she spoke as Na'mani and nova came downstairs, melo was already gone cause he had to go meet up with his brothers and dad .
" nova are you doing anything today ?" I asked as I got up and grabbed my bag .
" no , could Bre stay the night though ?" . I nodded " yeah make sure your room is clean though . I'm out " I waved and left out to my car .
Na'mani POV
" what kind of dog y'all getting ?" . We were walking through the dog shelter.
" a baby poodle , this one right here " we both squatted down to look at the little dog .
I heard a one of them growl to the left of me and it was a blue eyed gray pit bull .
" how much for this pit bull ?" I asked the lady . " eight hundred. He's the last pit we have " she smiled .
" you gone get it ain't you " riah smirked . " hell yeah !" .
I liked aggressive dogs anyway..for some reason .
I let him sniff my hand " he's friendly but a very smart dog to know when there's danger around " she told me .
" how old is he ?" I stood up . " seven months , he's a little smaller though because his old owners didn't feed his that much " she frowned .
They handed riah her fluffy ass dog " yeah imma get him " I said .
" okay let's go fill bout the paperwork " I followed her to a little desk and do what I had to do .
Riah and I picked out dog collars , food , treats and some more stuff and let them get their shots .
They let him out the cage and I picked him up " wassup ace" he licked my face . I only named him Ace cause something about his eyes told me to .
" yo mama gone kill you !" Riah laughed as we made it to the car and I let him sit on my lap . " I don't care " I chuckled .

As I said bye to Mariah I noticed mom and dad was still gone .
I walked in and went to the basement and into keoni room . " when you get bac- what the fuck !?" He shouted .
" you really bought a dog nigga !?" His eyes widened as I sat on his bed letting Ace nibble on my finger .
" hell yeah . His name is ace, he seven months and is a pitbull..obviously " I cheesed.
He reached to pet him but the dog growled. " let him sniff ya hand dumb ass" .
He did what I told him to and then he was able to let him . " why he so little at seven months ?" He turned back to his laptop.
" cause his old owners wasn't treating him right " I stood up and held him " I'm out " I went all the way upstairs to my room and let him go on my bed .
" if you take a shit or pee on my bed I swear to god you sleepin outside tonight " I eyed him and he growled at me .
" don't growl at me nigga ! " I bucked at him and he just layed down on my bed .
I went through the bags and set up his cage . " what you do- oh shit !" Nova shouted.
" stop yelling " I stood up . She came over to ace and for some reason he let her rub him , prolly cause me and her look like the same person .
" he's so cute ! What's his name ?" She held him . " ace " I grabbed my phone and looked at the time .
" mom is gonna go crazy " she laughed . " oh well , lemme see him " she gave him to me and I went downstairs to fill up both of his bowls and let him eat .
The door opened making him bark . " i know I don't hear a dog barking " dad said and came into the kitchen seeing me next to ace .
" yes you do " I smiled and he bent down . " you- how-wha- you bought a dog ?" He stuttered and I nodded my head .
" your mom doesn't know huh ?" .
I shook my head " hell nah " I chuckled . " his name is ace , seven months old " the dog ran up to dad and started licking him .
" I like him " he laughed and played with him for a little " I'm going to take a nap , please potty train him cause I don't wanna see no pieces of shit everywhere " he shouted going up the stairs.
I let him finish eating and then I took him outside and let him run around and I played with him .

" who told you to buy a dog !" Mom yelled at me as she put away the groceries.
" god did " I sarcastically smiled.
" wanna pet him " I held him to her face and she hit my arm making him growl at her .
" she just hit me ace , go bite her " I whispered. " I will leave that dog outside. Na'mani why would you get a dog !!" She shouted again .
" why are you telling ?" I squinted my eyes at her . " because I wanted to..?" I sat him down and he sat by my leg .
" get away from me before I hit you " I just laughed and went upstairs to see what bre and nova was doing .
" y'all having a whole party without me " I shouted over the music they was playing .
" you wasn't invited " bre responded while running her fingers through her blonde ass wig .
" shut up before I throw you out the window " I smiled . She hit me on my head making me wince .
Soon they turned the music off and dad came in with ace in his hand " I want y'all outfits planned for tomorrow game and be prepared for interview's , also dinner is done ." We nodded our head .
Usually when mom or dad has a game , they want us to look nice so they got us different stylists for big events/games .
We all met in the dining room after getting our food and sat down . " keoni when is your game ?" Mom asked .
" Saturday at seven , champion chip babyyy!" He cheesed as dad dabbed him up .
" you still suck tho , you like pj with the no jumper " I joked . " don't do my mans like that " he shook his head .
