Based on true events. Basically my friend took me to a halloween fright night thing when I was 12 and it was scary as shit. So most things that y/n does or says are actually what I said and did when I went there so um yeah- And I'm basically gonna use what was there as the haunted houses and shit if that makes sense? Eh, you'll understand when you read it💀

Since it was around halloween, Aidan and I thought it would be fun to go to a fright night thing where they had loads of haunted houses and stuff.

I hadn't been to one in ages, and I thought I might have grown out of the phase of being scared of these kind of things.

Emphasis on the thought.

When we got there, it was around 6pm, so it was just starting to get dark. Great, now I'll definitely be scared.

I mean, at least I always had Aidan I guess.

The first haunted house we went through was a horror movie one. (So like, each room is a different horror movie and they jump scare you and stuff)

"You nervous?" Aidan asked as he watched me biting my nails. I played it off cooly and said no, but secretly, I was contemplating everything.

Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to even mention coming to this thing.

When we finally was allowed inside, my heart already thumped in fear of the unknown (into the uNkOoOoOWn, i'm sorry i had too).

The first room was of the movie The excorcist.

It wasn't too bad, there were no jump scares, but I still clutched tightly onto Aidan as we walked past the static TV and the bed that was moving like crazy.

The next room was way worse.

It was based on the film The ring, and my god did that movie scare the shit out of me.

I squeezed Aidan's hand even tighter, and even cowered behind his back a bit as we walked past an empty chair sat in front of a static TV.

I screamed bloody murder when I saw one of the employees dressed as Samara crawling around the floor.

Aidan shielded me so I would feel less scared, but it honestly wasn't working.

I backed away in fear, trying to get away from the her, but I accidentally backed up too far and leant against the fire exit doors behind me, making them open and let in some of the light from outside.
