"Anyone?"
Ella Manoban asks. Her daughter stares at her with the same stern glance she is giving hers.
"Yeah" she mutters. Short and flat.
"And this is not your game?" she asks, wanting to know more than her daughter allows her to.
"No" she replies again. Short and flat. No emotion attaches.
"Fine. I'll survey around" Ella sighs as she runs her one hand through her hair.
"Thank you, mom" Lisa says as she excuses herself from the office and back into hers.
Ella doesn't understand what makes her daughter change her mind. She knows Lisa is not that easy type to cave into what people want her to be.
She knows because she is like her daughter too. But anyway, she has to keep her promise to her daughter - because whatever the brat wants, she will get.
