"Hi, mom" Jennie greets musically as she leans in to place a kiss on Ella Manoban's cheek.
"Hello, Jennie. It's been a long time already" she says as she reciprocates the kiss back.
"Where have you been?"
"Well, I'd just be around mom if Jisoo hasn't been giving me too much to chew on my plate"
Jisoo; the Korean girl with dark hair smiles before leaning in to brush her lips against Ella Manoban's cheek. "Hi, mom" she mutters the same greeting.
"Don't do that, Jisoo" Ella Manoban says. "Don't make my pretty Jennie overworks. It's not healthy"
"She's just being dramatic, mom," Jisoo replies decently.
"Oh" Ella Manoban turns her head towards the three on the long couch.
"Let me introduce you to my friend and her daughters. Elaine, these are Jennie and Jisoo and girls, this is my friend"
"Hello" both of them greet politely in unison.
"And those two are their daughters; Chaeyoung and Alice"
"Hi, it's nice to meet you. I'm Jennie and this is Ji ... Rosé?"
Jennie asks, scowling. "What are you doing here?"
Her voice; from all sweet, is suddenly turning all bitter.
Next to her, Jisoo is bending down, whispering to her fiancé's ear.
"Jen, let's seat down, shall we?"
"No, Jisoo it's her" Jennie points in disbelief.
"I know" Jisoo clears her throat as she puts on a fake smile.
"Mom, where's Lisa?"
"Upstairs" Ella Manoban replies in confusion.
"Okay, Jennie and I will get her, if that's alright"
"Of course, darling"
