"Sky, we need your help stopping Jack—" The pale boy spoke as he barged into his sister's room without a care in the world, like he usually did on a daily basis. His words cut short when he realised she wasn't the only one in her bed, he had done this so many times before except it would be a stranger he'd never recognise. His eyes widened when the other woman stirred beside his sister, revealing strawberry blonde hair covering the pillow.
"Oh my god."
After the events of the lacrosse match last night, earning them the first win of the season, Skylar was nowhere to be seen. She wasn't at the school when the game had finished, nor was she there when the two boys figured out who the alpha was. The brunette had pretty much missed everything that had happened, her two brothers assumed she had gone home to bed; what they didn't know was that she was in fact awake, and with the strawberry blonde who captured her heart.
Her phone had rang multiple times during the night, but it was pretty much on silent as she sat in the passenger seat of Lydia's car. After the game had finished, she received a text from the strawberry blonde telling her she was parked in the school parking lot waiting for her. The two had sat in silence most of the night driving around. When it hit almost midnight they had decided to finally call it a night, Lydia had asked if she could spend the night with the woman who stole her heart; not wanting to spend the night alone. She was pretty upset about the whole thing that went down with Jackson, she might not have been in love with him but she cared for him deeply. And, he hurt her in as many ways as he could which was enough confirmation for her to realise he had no respect for her whatsoever and she deserved better.
"Dude, get out of my room." Skylar groaned as she rubbed her eyes facing her brother, before throwing a pillow at him hitting the door as he rushed out of the room.
The brunette glanced down at the petite woman beside her, her body sprawled across the bed like she owned it. A microscopic smile etched its way at the corner of her lips, the idea of waking up to someone she'd dreamt about almost overwhelming her. It wasn't often she found herself attached to someone in a way more than friends, yet staring down at the sleeping beauty that was snoring lightly, she knew this was something more. The sight of the other female in her bed was one of the best she'd ever seen.
"I can feel you staring." A soft voice pulled her out of her trance, stopping her from admiring the woman before her.
"I wasn't staring. Am I not allowed to admire a beautiful woman, that just so happened to be in my bed?" Skylar questioned rhetorically, her compliment not going unnoticed by the other teen, a blush formed perfectly on her once paled cheeks. Beautiful was something she'd never been called before, and it warmed her heart coming from the woman she was falling for.
