A blood curdling cry shook the atmosphere of Beacon Hills, Skylar's hands flew to cover her ears as the screaming continued to rise to deafening levels. She heard muffled voices, but it was way too late to try and bring her back. The world had already been tuned out. Her vision was now completely red, as she stumbled away from the unconscious blonde and headed towards the exit of the abandoned vehicle.

Skylar's head was reeling, spinning from the excruciating scream. Fear captivated her as she took a few steps forward and then collapsed to her hands and knees on the grass, her stomach twinged an all too familiar sensation. Her head pounded in the confines of her skull and she knew exactly what was coming next. She felt a soft hand on her back, as her mouth filled with her sharp canines. Her claws dug into the grass before her, she turned breathing rather heavily and looked at the person who was touching her.

She saw her brother through tainted red vision, it was like seeing him in a whole new light every time. Because, now, he wasn't just her twin brother... in the eyes of the beast he was something to be hunted. And then, Lydia's scream stopped, her ears filling with dead silence.

"Sky, what's wrong?" Her brother questioned softly, his hand still pressed firmly against her back in an attempt to sooth her.

"It's Lydia, somethings wrong. Stay here."

The pale teen's mouth parted a little too quickly for his sister's liking, and before he could even mutter a reply she was on her feet and racing back into the eerie woods. The wind whipped through her dark hair, the speed at which she ran shouldn't have been possible. Not a single stitch pierced through her lung, as it would've just a year ago. The distance between her and Lydia quickly came to nothing as she halted at the abandoned Hale house in the middle of the words. With the state of the building towering before her, it was clear it should've been torn down years ago. It was just screaming danger, and a trickle of fear licked at her soul as she edged towards whatever awaited her beyond the broken door.

The scent of her girlfriend hit her all at once, consuming every fibre of her being. What was she doing all the way out here? With one foot pressing heavily onto the porch, a creak filled the silence of the woods, no doubt alerting Lydia of her presence.

"Lydia?"

Skylar's voice echoed off of the hollow walls, the stench of rotting wood causing her to crinkle her nose. There was nothing here that pinpointed why on earth her girlfriend had come out here, just an old home with a bad history. Grey eyes panned the empty space, her head snapping towards the sound of a quiet sniffle. The flood of emotions that hit her as she found Lydia cradling her legs against a far wall, a delicate flower held between her fingers - wolfsbane to be exact. Out of every flower, why on earth had she chosen that one? Obviously she had no idea what it meant to her girlfriend, and the damage it could cause, but somehow none of that mattered. It was almost as though Skylar wasn't there, the strawberry blonde not bothering to acknowledge her presence.
