𝐓𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐖𝐨𝐥𝐟 - 𝐒𝟐 𝐄𝟏𝟐
A howling full of pain woke the brunette from the paralysing toxin that was once spreading throughout her veins, it was unlike any howl she had ever heard before. There was an unfamiliar yet familiarity to it and all of a sudden she felt her body shifting uncontrollably. Whatever, whoever it was, it had some sort of connection and hold over her body, so much so that she felt almost compelled to seek it out. Her eyes snapped open and scanned her unfamiliar surroundings, before she could even stop to comprehend what sort of danger lay ahead, her feet were dragging her from the sofa she was laying on to many rooms in whatever apartment she was in. The wooden floor at her feet faded as it led into the darkness of another room yet she must follow it for the sake of whatever was out there. Somewhere in there is the answer she needs, her hands glided through the gentle air as she paced, opened her senses to sound, to aroma and listened so very carefully to every instinct.
Her mind was doing overtime trying to figure out how she had ended up here, the last she remembered before waking was Jackson piercing his venomous claws into her neck and paralysing her. Yet, here she was in an unfamiliar apartment.
She stepped into a kitchen and her eyes caught sight of a familiar figure perched beside a fridge, his large hand cradling his stomach which appeared to be bleeding. His top was covered in blood, and it was ripped in various places from what looked like claw marks. She knew who it was the second she noticed the figure, the same man that ambushed her in the bathroom with his vague information.
"Jesus Christ." Skylar scrambled to the floor to cradle the open wound stretched across her alpha's abdomen, the blood poured from the wound and coated her fingers within seconds of her reaching him. "What happened to you?"
"Peter, he wants me dead."
"Well, he got his wish. You don't seem very alive to me." The sarcastic response fell from her lips before she could even stop herself, it was like second nature to her.
A heavy sigh fell from the older man's lips at Skylar's words, he needed to get her to listen to him no matter the cost and of course she had to be her usual sarcastic self. "I got away before he could finish the job. Listen to me, Skylar. You have to kill me."
"Like hell I will. I'm not a murderer." The brunette staggered backwards, her hand removed from the wound she had been cradling. Her eyes widened with fear, there was no way in hell she heard him correctly.
"No, you're not understanding me. I need you to kill me." He put a lot of emphasis on the words that spilled from his lips, as if that was enough to convince the brunette of what he needed her to do.
"I fucking heard you the first time. Not gonna happen."
"It has to be you, Skylar. Peter isn't at his full strength, if he kills me he gains his power. I can't let that happen, not again."
