An hour had passed since school had finished, the parent/teacher conference wasn't for another two hours. Skylar had quickly gotten changed into black cargo pants, a white cropped hoodie finishing off with her black timberlands. After spending all day in school with the strawberry blonde on her mind, she had decided she'd go and visit her. To make sure she was okay, and to get some understanding of what the girl had seen at the video store.

"Is dad at work?" She questioned her brother as she walked down the stairs, noticing him sat in the living room watching tv with what appeared to be a coffee in his hand.

Stiles turned his head, eyebrows raised at his sister dressed as if she was planning to go somewhere. "Yeah, he went earlier. He's still gonna make it to the conference though."

"Can I take the jeep, I'm going to check on Lydia."

"Yeah, sure. You take Roscoe and go check on Lydia." Stiles smirked, and he began wiggling his eyebrows at his sister as if he was implying she was doing more than just checking on the teen.

The brunette rolled her eyes, "Shut up, I'll be back soon."

"Have fun!" Her brother added as she walked out of the house and slammed the door for dramatic effect.

Skylar entered the jeep, pulling out of the drive and heading towards the strawberry blonde's house, her thoughts had never once left the girl. When she hadn't shown up to school today, the first thing Skylar did was worry. All she did was overthink every single thing, wondering if maybe the strawberry blonde had been hurt after all. Or maybe the alpha knew they had grown close and purposely attacked Lydia to gain her attention. A million thoughts flowed through her mind.

She pulled over and parked outside Lydia's house, and she took her keys out of the jeep. All of sudden a rush of nervousness hit the brunette, her heart pounded as she stepped out of the jeep, walking towards the door. It was almost as if the strawberry blonde's mother had heard Skylar pacing from inside the house, as she opened the front door. Startled to see the teen stood there, a hand raised as she was about to knock on the door.

"Uh, Hi Miss Martin. I just came over to check on Lydia, since she wasn't in school after the incident last night." Skylar rambled nervously, rubbing her clammy hands against her pants hoping the older woman hadn't noticed her nervousness.

"She's just upstairs. Come on, I'll show you to her room," The older woman smiled, motioning for Skylar to step inside. "How's your father?"

The brunette followed the girl up the stairs, her hands holding onto the stair railings with each step. "He's okay, busy with work."

Miss Martin hummed, stopping outside a room before placing a firm knock on the door. She had opened it without waiting for a response and Skylar stood hidden at the side of the wall unsure of whether to walk in or not, her nerves getting the better of her. Not that she had a single clue why she was even nervous in the first place, she never grew nervous over a girl and she certainly didn't expect to feel nervous due to Lydia Martin.
