Y/n's pov

"Guys, I can't do this," Kasumi says clutching onto my hand and Kei's pant leg. "I'm gonna fall."

I was big brand and got her some skates for her birthday, and Kei got her pink and purple laces, just like the ones she got me. God, I love him but don't tell him that.

"You're the one who wanted to go skating," I say. "And you can rollerblade, it's kind of similar."

"You've got it," Kei says.

"It's not the same," she says. "This is like standing on knives, Kei I can't let's go get hot chocolate instead."

"No, this is our fun plan, now let go of my arm," I say. "You're gonna pull me down."

"I'll fall then," she says.

"How am I supposed to catch you if I can't move my arms?" I ask. "If you fall, we both fall."

"I'm actually gonna die," she says. "I don't want to skate anymore."

"Lisen," Kei says kneeling down because he has that kinda skill while wearing skates. "This is exactly the same as when I first took Y/n skating, she was afraid that she'd fall and get hurt just like you."

"Then how did she learn how?" she asks.

"You see this bracelet?" he asks taking her free hand. "All I had to do was get her to let go and try, she did it, of course, I wouldn't have gotten her to try anything I thought she'd totally fail at. Anyway, she skated over to me all by herself that's the origin of the skate charm."

Okay, you can marry me now.

"Make sure you catch me if I do fall," she says letting go.

"And as a bonus point, I've got both of you a little present," he says standing back up holding a small box. "So get to skating."

She's an even faster learner than I am, that girl really went off skating on her own, as if it were nothing.

"So, I'm gonna assume that you're holding my hand because you don't want to fall, and not because you love me or anything," Kei says, watching Kasumi skate around.

"Does it matter?" I ask.

"It matters to me," he says.

"You're good with kids," I say. "She wouldn't have gone off skating if it was me."

"She would've," he says pulling me along with him. "She loves you, it would've probably taken more convincing on your part but still."

"Why didn't you say anything, when you were my neighbour?" I ask. "I mean you still are my neighbour, but you know what I mean."

"You'd move away," he shrugs. That's why."

"Hmm," I nod my head. "Probably, I mean I was debating it when I realized it was you."

"Why didn't you?" he asks.

"I need to make sure that you weren't banging anyone else," I say.

"I could've gone over to their house and done it," he says. "Banged someone else."

"You better not have," I say.

"Don't worry, I didn't," he says. "I wouldn't."

"Yeah, I know you haven't done it with anyone in a while," I laugh. "That why you have that blue headache."

"I do not," he scoffs. "So when can we get back together?"

"Don't know," I shrug. "What does getting back together entail?"

"Like before," he says. "I don't know, like a relationship."

"Like what?" I ask. "Tell me."

"I don't want you to date anyone else, and when you're not in a relationship you have the liberty to do so,"

"Mhm," I nod my head. "What else."

"I want to be able to give you kisses or whatever whenever I want to," he says. "Well, that sounds bad but you get it."

"Cool," I say. "That's cool."

"What's cool?" he asks. "Can we start dating again?"

"Don't know," I say.

"Fine," he says. "I can wait."

"Now can I have my present?" I ask resting against the edge of the skating rink. "Please."

"Yeah whatever," he says. "You know the drill."

"I do," I smile closing my eyes and holding up my hand.

"There, open," he says.

"A lock?" I question. "What's the meaning behind it?"

"Kasumi gets a heart charm," he says reaching into his jacket to pull out a simple chain he was wearing. "I have this necklace with a Kei my mom gave me for Christmas, so I figured I could just add on by getting you two a gift."

"That's actually sweet," I say. "Really sweet."

"Sweet enough for a present in return?" he asks.

"Come on, you should give him a gift," Kasumi says coming over and hanging onto my leg. "Also, I want my present too."

"Of course," he says clipping the small charm onto her bracelet. "You like it?"

"Oh I see what you did there mister," Kasumi says. "Your necklace charm is a really light blue, her's is like rose gold and then mines purple. I like it."

"I didn't even notice that," he says.

Don't lie to yourself.

"You should give him a present," Kasumi says. "He deserves it, come on give him a kiss. Tell me when I should look away, I don't want to watch."

"Hmm..." I pause. "You can sleep in our bed, with Kasumi in the middle."

"What?" he questions.

"Yeah, you can sleep in the bed," I say. "Isn't that what you wanted?"

"Please mom, can I make some changes," Kasumi asks. "Please, pretty please, it's my birthday, please."

"Run it by me first," I say.

"You sleep in his bed, and I get our bed all to myself, just for tonight before we leave," she says. "And you should let him hu you while you sleep."

So cuddling, yeah sounds good to me.

"Yeah Y/n, you should let me hug you while we sleep," he says.

"No," I say. "I'll get too hot."

"I'll turn on the ac," Kasumi says. "Don't you want a boyfriend?"

"Nope," I shake my head. "Not yet."

"Okay, she says yes," Kei says. "Okay Kasumi, go back out and skate, have some fun."

"Okay bye guys," she says leaving us. "See you."

"I promise to keep my hands above the waist and below the chest," he says. "I won't kiss you or anything like that, plus Kasumi's gonna be right there. I just want to be close to you."

"Y'know, if I told anyone how you act sometimes your salty persona would be done for?" I ask.

"No one will believe that," he says. "So go ahead."

"I'm gonna go skate with Kasumi, she might fall," I say. "Come on with me."

"Well obviously I was gonna come with you," he says. "There are single guys around here."

"Yeah, like you," I laugh.

I'm actually not going to do anything bad until after they get married, so like many chapters or something like that. Plus, the other Y/n is gonna suffer.
