THE TOURNAMENT - PART 2

"Next up, Hawk verses Keene!" Darryl announced.

Mar clapped for Robby, shooting him a smile and a thumbs up as he glanced to her.

Hawk saw this, his eyebrows furrowing.

He hadn't admitted it to anyone. Ever.

But growing up, he had a crush on the girl.

She was his bestest friend and she was the only girl who didn't scrunch their face in disgust when they saw him or laugh at him.

So as he saw Robby and Mar staring at each other with lovey dovey eyes, a type of anger overcame him.

"You like her, don't you?" Alyssa whispered to Hawk.

"That's none of your business." Hawk snapped.

"Look, if you're still pissed about the whole bullying thing, I've changed." Alyssa said as she checked her nails.

"Yeah whatever." Hawk rolled his eyes before looking at his sensei who look troubled.

"Something wrong sensei?" Hawk asked.

"No." Johnny shook his head. "Show him what you got."

Hawk smirked as he turned to face Robby.

That's all he needed to hear.

After doing his handshake with Miguel, Hawk jumped unto the stage.

"Kick his ass, Hawk!" Alyssa yelled.

"Prepare to face the fury of the Hawk." Hawk smirked at Robby. "And stay away from Mar."

Robby furrowed his brows before he saw the scar on Hawk's lips. "Hey, you're that Eli kid."

"Face me, bow, face each other, bow!" The referee instructed not giving Hawk a chance to respond to Robby.

Robby and Hawk did as told.

"Fight!"

Mar watched as Robby and Hawk began fighting.

Rosita had moved up in her seat to be next to Mar, and Anthony did so as well.

Mar and Rosita held each other's hand, 'owing' as Robby was thrown to the floor.

"Come on, Robby! Beat his sorry ass!" Mar yelled.

Hawk clenched his jaw at this.

Who did this Robby kid feel he was?

"He's not focused." Daniel sighed out before standing up. "Remember what you learned, Robby!"

Mar smiled warmly as Daniel sat back down.

Robby nodded to Daniel before turning to face Hawk again.

"Thank you." Mar said to Daniel, knowing that hs was mad at the boy.

"Don't thank me yet." Daniel smiled.

"Ready... fight!"

Robby and Hawk began fighting.

Mar played with Robby's ring on her finger anxiously.

Robby had done so many tricks that Mar couldn't keep up.

Finally, Robby earned himself a point.

"That was sick!" Anthony exclaimed.

"You bet it was!" Rosita laughed as she ruffled Anthony's hair.

"You're a great teacher, Mr.L" Mar laughed, clapping for her boyfriend.
