It was now the morning of the first task. I woke up fairly early and began to prepare for the day. Ever since Harry and I both found out about the dragons, I had been on edge. I've kept it together for Cedric's sake, but I was totally freaking out. For the past few days, Hermione and Harry have been practicing the summoning charm on his broom. So one could assume he was planning on somehow using his broom during the task.

After about twenty minutes I walked out of my dorm and down to the common room where I found Ginny awake. I walked over and sat beside her.

"Now, why in the whole entire world are you awake so early?" I asked her. "We normally have to pry the sheets out of your little hands!" I grabbed her hands and shook them.

"I'm nervous for Harry ..." her voice was quiet and shallow. "And my hands aren't tiny!" She ripped her hands out of mine and played with them in her lap. Being her big sister to her I knew exactly why she was nervous. Ever since Ron first mentioned him, she has had a crush on Harry.

"He'll be fine, Gin. He is a very extraordinary wizard for his age." I said rubbing her shoulder. "Besides, don't waste your time dwelling on him." She turned to me with a look of shock.

"What does that mean?"

"You know exactly what I mean Gin Gin. Don't wait for Harry to see your beauty, try and find love before him. So that way, he can see what he is missing!" I said. She got a devious smile on her face.

"Lori, you are a complete genius." She hugged me. "You're the best big sister I could ever have!" She hugged me once more before leaving the Common Room and heading back to her dorm. I just sat back and began to read a book I borrowed from Hermione.

Tuck Everlasting

I was just a chapter away from the end when I felt someone breathing on my neck. I glanced over and saw a sleeve of a Gryffindor jumper. I sniffed the air and smelt the faint smell of smoke.

"Morning Seamus."

"How did you know it was me?" He said as he flopped down in the chair opposite of me.

"I can smell the smoke coming off of that thing. When was the last time you blew something up in that jumper?"

"Um ... last night?" Seamus reached and pulled the collar of his jumper over his face.

"SEAMUS!" I laughed out tossing a throw pillow over at him. "Why are you always blowing things up!"

"I don't try to!" He lowered the collar and I could see he was blushing. "Most of the time I ... I just get nervous and screw up because I am next to Dean." Seamus leaned forward to look around the Common Room to make sure it was clear before speaking anymore.

"He's not here, Seamus," I said with a chuckle.

"I have to be sure, Lorrinda! I don't want to lose him as a friend." Seamus got up and began to pace the floor in front of the sofa. "I'm head over heels for him, Lori. I don't know what to do! I mean, part of me just says to tell him and let whatever gonna happen ... happen. Yet another part of me is just SCREAMING for me to hide my feelings, but eventually, Dean's not gonna be blind to it all and want to confront me ..."

Seamus rambled on in panic for about another ten minutes, before he collapsed back into the chair he sat in, to begin with.

"You want my honest opinion, Seamus?" I said smirking over at him.

"YES!"

"Just TELL HIM!" Now I glanced around the room before speaking. "Trust me, by not admitting you have feelings for someone ... it's just gonna eat you up inside until you tell someone."
