Chapter Nineteen

I should be ashamed of myself, even though I said I wouldn’t tell him, I told him anyway. And guess how much; that’s right, everything!! It all just poured out, and he was (surprisingly) patient enough to listen.

He listened when I told him how I became an orphan; he listened to everything. I usually never talk about that, but for some reason, I told him. I don’t know why, but it’s kinda nice to have it all off my back.

After very carefully and compassionately listening to all that I had to say, he saw the stress on my face and the tears in my eyes. He stood up, walked over to me, leaned over andgently held me for awhile, at first I was surprised but somehow, I managed to relax into it.

It’s funny really, because I never thought Sasuke was capable of this kind of thing. Being nice I mean. He’s usually so cold to everyone. Why is he different to me, even though he acts like a jerk, it’s only sometimes, really, but I still wonder why, though?

“Ne, Sasuke-”

“Shh” he did not just shut me up! “Someone’s coming” his hand covers my mouth as he pulls me behind a thick tree along with him.

What the hell is going on here?! I watch as a lady around 20 or so comes out; looks around for a few minutes; the longest few minutes of my life, before walking back through the thick trees.

When she finally leaves, I take the chance to break free from his cold grip. “What do you think you’re doing?! I couldn’t breathe!! Were you trying to kill me or something?!?!” I exclaim, taking a deep breath.

He just stares, obviously not expecting that; I don’t usually blow up on people. He looked like he was about to say something before quickly pulling me away. What the hell is with this guy!?

“Let go, Sasuke!! Let go!” I scream pulling on my arm which literally feels like it’s about to be torn off.

I gasp as he turns around, pushing me against the closest tree. “You talk too much” he mutters, before letting go of me.

I can’t help but blush, he practically a centimeter from my face, no a millimeter. Is there anything smaller?? If there is, then it’s that.

And now, I have absolutely nothing to say, I just follow him, watch his back as we walk through numerous people on the sidewalk.

Though I think it would be pretty obvious that I couldn’t keep my stupid heart from beating wildly in my secluded chest. Seriously, if I didn’t need it, I would soo throw it out right now!!

I sigh and decide to look around; I definitely didn’t expect to see an amusement park here, or I would’ve heard a lot of noise. Oh wait, there it is.

Suddenly I ran right into Sasuke, hmm, it seems he stopped. I jumped back, startled, quickly apologizing; I turned back to the amusement part. It would be nice to go there, wouldn’t it?

“Sayuri” I hear Sasuke sigh faintly.

“Huh?” I ask, looking at him for a spit second.

He sighs again; “You want to go there, don’t you?” I turn to him, surprised. How did he know?!

“Can we, please??” I ask, pulling out my secret weapon! Ha-ha!!

He gives the straightest face ever, making me think it wouldn’t work, but then, he sighs loudly. I grin and drag him toward the large amusement park. “Oi!!” I laugh at his resistance.

First I drag him all the way to the rollercoaster and get in line. I wait impatiently while he sighs and mutters to himself. Weird

Finally we get on the rollercoaster. I get scared and grab onto Sasuke who looks like he rather be anywhere but here. So rude

I scream along with everyone else on the rollercoaster until we get off. I giggle childishly and pull back in line, causing him to sigh again.

Next we ride the teacups; I think that’s what you call it. They ended up spinning wildly, causing me to almost throw up when we got off. He sighs again and steadies me so I don’t fall. He seems to be sighing a lot lately.

After that we take pictures, tons of them, with his doing the same thing over and over; sighing. But one time when I almost tripped, he actually smirked and we got a picture of it. He doesn’t know that so Shh! ;)

And lastly, well not quite; we went to the food court, since I was hungry. “Hmm, I don’t know what I want” I mutter, probably holding up every hungry person in line.

“We’ll take one of each” says Sasuke, breaking into my choice time. Jeez, how rude.

He takes his purchases and walks to an empty table, “That was not necessary, Sasuke-kun” I growl, grabbing a packet of milk duds. I opened the pack and popped the small chocolate ball in my mouth. Sasuke just watches me, looking amused, as I down the rest of the duds. All except one. I was about to eat it but then I thought; I have never seen Sasuke eat anything sweet.

“Aren't you gonna eat anything?” I ask, surprising him, though I couldn’t really tell.

“I don’t eat sweets” he says, referring to pile of unwrapped candy on the small round table. Before I could hold it back a long and very dramatic gasp escaped, causing him to look at me weirdly, also looking somewhat amused.

“H-h-h-how can y-you NOT eat candy?!?! It’s like my life!!” I exclaim dramatically. I don’t get him, but I can somewhat understand; he doesn’t look like someone who would really eat candy. So why would I be so surprised?

He says nothing, just chuckles at my reaction. Jerk

I huff and grab the last milk dud, hmm…I just had a great idea; I just wonder if it’ll work…

“Come on Sasuke, don’t you want to try it?” I ask, holding out the tempting milk dud. Sigh, I can’t believe I’m risking a milk dud for this. I have really gone crazy.

“No” he states, looking amused yet annoyed. Is that even possible? Well, obviously it is, because he’s doing it right now.

“Just one?” I ask bringing out my undeniably awesome puppy dog face. Ha-ha, take that Sasuke-kun!!!

“No” he states, looking more annoyed by the minute.

“I’ll keep bugging you” I grin still holding out the small almost melting milk dud. He raises an eyebrow, almost like he was daring me to continue. Alright then, Sasuke-kun, I accept your challenge. >:D

I huffed and ate the half melted milk dud. Instead I grabbed the closest piece of candy which happened to be a lollipop; a strawberry lollipop, my favorite too. T-T

This better be worth it.
