The event has started and the emperor make his speech. He's glad that a lot of nobles came. I saw my brother and princess laughing in the corner. Good for them, they're enjoying the evening
I touched my head, I wanted to leave.
"Hey, lady Eloise, we met again."
I look up and saw Thalia smiling. I stared at her for a long time and I suddenly saw a black aura surrounding her.
"I'm really sorry about what happened on your birthday. I noticed that you're alone and lonely so I thought it'll be great to accompany you for a while." She said
I stared at her without saying a word and the black aura suddenly disappeared
"Are you okay, lady Eloise?" She asked
"Yeah," I replied
"Eloise!" I saw my brother coming towards me and pull me away from Thalia
"Who are you!?" He asked and glared at her
"I-I'm Thalia---"
"I asked who you are!"
Thalia was surprised when my brother yelled at her.
"What happened here?"
A woman suddenly approach us
"Thalia, my dear, what happened?" She hugged her
"I'm scared." Thalia said while sobbing
"What did you do!?"
"I sense black magic around that girl." My brother said
So that explain the black aura around her earlier
"What the hell are you talking about? So you're saying my precious Thalia is a black magic user!? How could you say that? She's a perfect lady in this empire!"
Everyone stared at us. Damn it
"Elliote, what happened here?" Princess Shae ask
"Your highness, can you sense a black magic right now?"
Princess Shae look around for a second, "Not at all, Elliote, why?"
"See!? Even the princess didn't sense a black magic around Thalia!"
"It's odd, I can't feel the black magic right now." Elliote whispered
Thalia and the woman walked away. Elliote grabbed my hand and pulled me away
"Stay away from that girl. She's dangerous."
"Do you think I don't know that? She approach me first, and I even saw a odd aura around her."
"It's black magic. I'm sure that girl is a black magic user."
"We can't prove anything, brother."
If we say anything about Thalia without enough evidence, there's possiblity that we'll be executed.
Black magic can manipulate people minds, they can control them just like a puppet. Since black magic is not something you'll have since birth, the limit of its power is pretty high, you can use it for a long period of time.
But if Thalia is a black magic user, how come it's not written in the novel?
