It was the middle of summer and the scorching sun was high in the sky. The camphor trees on both sides of C University’s campus roads were lush and green, neatly arranged. The rustling of leaves and the sound of cicadas were incessant.

The wind that occasionally blew through was like a heatwave rolling over people, the whole city like a big steamer basket.

Lalisa Manoban was holding a vinyl umbrella, which blocked some of the sunlight but not the heat that was like an unending stream flowing to her body.

She held the umbrella with one hand and took out her phone from her skirt’s pocket with the other, opened WeChat and saw eight unread messages from the dormitory group chat.

She accurately extracted the relevant information from the pile of emojis.

—The information session will be held in classroom B101 of the Department of Economics and Management building.

Lisa’s pace slowed down, somewhat troubled.

She was holding an umbrella in one hand, so it was inconvenient to type. So she pressed [Hold to Talk], slightly lowered her head and moved closer to the phone, then said softly.

“I just returned from home, which area is the Department of Economics and Management building in?”

Then she let go and sent.

Because the information session hadn’t started yet, the people in the group chat all replied in seconds.

She looked at the messages they sent and started looking for Area B following the signs on campus. It took a full fifteen minutes for her to get to the classroom.

When she entered B101, the air conditioning that hit her in the face knocked her back a step. Lisa saw her roommates at once.

She walked over, sat in the vacant seat, smiled and greeted them.

The reason why she could quickly identify her roommates from the group of people stemmed from their eye-catching hairstyles.

Big brown waves, black crew cut1, colorful highlights in braids.

In contrast, Lisa Manoban, who only had long and straight blonde hair, looked particularly clean.

Big waves affectionately put her arm around Lisa’s shoulder, “I forgot that our Lili is directionally challenged. She can’t even remember our department’s building, don’t even mention the Department of Economics and Management.”

“True. If we one day collectively cut class, let’s see how she would manage.”

The other two people also laughed and teased her.

This was a lecture hall, spacious and fully equipped. Even the air conditioning was better than ordinary classrooms.

Lisa took a look around and poked the big waves beside her, “Jen, why does.. it seem like it’s all girls here?”

In such a big classroom, after a glance around, all she could see were girls.

Moreover, she could see that many looked exceptionally pretty and meticulously dressed up.

“Tsk, you don’t even know about this,” Jennie moved toward her, “Today’s information session actually doesn’t have much important content, mainly for the seniors to share their experience with us. However, there’s an extremely famous senior who’s coming.”

She paused, switching to a gossipy tone, “He’s said to be extremely handsome, extremely hot, extremely cool, but the key point is that he’s extremely good at studying!”
