Raven Inanis' eyes were lit up in wonder at the sight of the magical world. So many shops, however, two words stood out a lot more than others.

Wizard & Magus

Curiously he looked to McGonagall and asked the question about the two.

"We'll both are a group of Magic users, they both go about it in different ways. Along with their power source. A Wizard has a core that has two maturity points, one at 11 and then again at 17. A wizard's core can be enlarged in size by using it, like a muscle and the quality of them varies. A magus has Magic Circuits that are predetermined in amount and quality. Wizards use a wand or a focus for their magic while a magus only uses a focus to enhance their ability or to enable certain things. You'll learn more about it during school." Minerva McGonagall, or rather Professor McGonagall as she asked to be called, or just Professor for short.

"Wow. Also Professor I know you said I would be taking a test to see if I had any heritage in the magical world, but how do I find out if I have any heritage?" Raven asked curiously.

The Professor stiffened wondering how the child would take the answer.

"The goblins, a warrior-type race who desire one thing above all else, wealth, can get almost anything done for money. They also have their brand of magic, amongst those is a heritage test. One must allow for 7 drops of blood into a potion that has goblin magic infused. Once it's spilled onto the special parchment they have, it will show several pieces of information to be known to only the person taking the test and the goblins." She said professionally as they arrived at the entrance to the bank known as Gringotts.

Raven took note of the goblins as all their eyes focused on them, not the Professor, but on him, what made him so special? Was it something about him different from others?

"Transfiguration Mistress McGonagall, how may Gringotts help you today?" A goblin asked after they waited for the person in front of them.

"I would like the standard heritage test done for this child here and charged to the Hogwarts vault as usual." She said as if she had said it many times, she's probably had.

"Of course madam. Grimhawk will show you two the way." The goblin said before glaring at the people behind them who shifted a little scared as the knife that was on the desk was stabbed into stone easily.

Raven heard a whimper as they walked away and wondered why that was. It's not like they stabbed a knife into a hard object with ease and glared at the next person right?

He looked at the hallway as they walked through it and took note of the things lying about the walls, some gems were all over it and he thought it fit just perfectly.

"Here we are. Prince Ripfang will help you inside." Grimhawk said before he walked away. McGonagall took charge and knocked before the door opened on its own revealing a somewhat large goblin with two guards behind him that were covered entirely in armor and had several weapons on them.

"Prince Ripfang, it's a pleasure to see you again," McGonagall said offering a small bow which Raven tried to copy the best he could. He was pretty sure he failed at the grin on the goblin's face and the small smile on McGonagall's face.
