Raven gave a quiet hum to himself as he finished making preparations to the great hall. Lunch had just recently been served. He had decided to sleep in today.
A wave of his wand made the tables in the great hall form a giant u shaped set of bleacher like seats. The teachers seats were placed at the ends of the new student seating for the great hall. The teachers would be learning as well.
His final change to the room was to make the same illusion rune stone he did in his classroom.
After that, pleased with his changes to the great hall, temporarily, he made himself a throne, nice and gaudy. His was much nicer than Albus' throne.
Then he took a seat and sat down. Fou jumping onto his lap.
Yes, this first lesson would be nice and fun.

Raven stared at the now almost filled up hall. Students and teachers alike staring at him. He could feel a slight nervousness in himself, but he pushed it down. All students and teachers were accounted for. It was time for his first lesson to begin.
Standing in a way that didn't betray his slight nervousness, he made sure to seem grand, for he was. A king did not become nervous in front of a small crowd after all.
"Welcome everyone. I'm sure you all heard last night by Headmaster Dumbledore, I am Raven Le Fay. Teacher of Magus Studies. Now I'm sure all of you have heard the term magus somewhere, for those of you who haven't, I will be going over a brief overview." Raven said grandiosely.
A illusion form of three people appeared. Someone dressed in fancy, if muggle clothes. The other on wizard clothes. The third in cloaks fully covering them.
"In this world there are three main magic caster types for humans. The kind you learn here at Hogwarts. The kind of magus. Then the kind of Warlock." Raven said as all three illusions made a stance.
The first pointing a wand. The second with glowing lines on their body. The third having a magic circle floating above their hand with a fire ball floating above the magic circle.
"The first is wizards and witches. Those with magic cores, drawing magic out from it to affect reality. Most needing wands to focus their magic. Some capable of doing wandless magic, though rare due to the strain it can put on those weaker. The most restricted yet free type of human magic users. Unlimited in use, but limited by power and imagination." Raven said as the first illusion one with the wand pointed it forward and a fire whip came out the wand and was moved around before the first illusion vanished.
"Now I will skip the second, for it is what my class will be based on after all. The third is magic users who are also born with a core, however their entire magic system has to relents. Great knowledge in mathematics and a decent amount of power." Raven said as the third illusion stepped forward and their magic circle enhanced in size before seemingly fizzing out into particles.
"They use magic via mathematical formulas. Even a small formula for a fire ball would look something like this." Raven said snapping his fingers as a giant amount of floating numbers appeared in the room before condensing into a blue magic circle with a dragons head in the middle. Then it fizzled out.
