Raven huffed as he saw more black lines forming on his body. Would his body just eventually become covered entirely in black lines of runic lines?

"Amaia, do you recognize this runic language?" Raven asked his ever loyal maid who appeared from his shadow.

"Hm, yes actually. Though I am curious why it's forming on your body master. It's the language of a dead ancient race. One of the first created by mother. I believe in human tongue you would call them... The Star People. The translation is a bit rough." Amaia said as she recalled them.

"They were amongst the first races to be created by mother. Though they weren't the strongest race, they were the most beautiful." She said smiling softly as she looked up at the night sky.

"They actually originally had a shape similar to how humans of today look now. Albeit much larger in size. Easily larger than planets. Similar in size to stars. The most gentle of people, but easily capable of fighting." She held a small flame in her hand.

"Their time in existence came to end, their race as a collective wanted to rest and return to mother's gentle and warm embrace. However they wished to give themselves to their mother's creation. So they changed their bodies. Becoming something greater." Death itself smiled.

"They became the light of all the universes."

Raven stilled as he had recognized what she meant early on, but it was incredibly amazing to hear it.

"The suns. They became the suns that gave light to creation." He said breathlessly and she nodded.

"Yes. The ancient writing of the stars. I am curious why it of all things if forming on you, and in dark coloring. Their runic language never even had darkness. Yet yours is light and dark. What an intriguing thing." Amaia said as she traced the runic language formed.

"Born of the children blessed by the stars."

"Made to shine light on infinite dreams."

"Created to shed light onto the corrupted."

"Blessed by Light, pulled to Darkness."

"Luminescent Darkness into the throne."

"Brilliant Darkness Onto The Cardinal Realm."

"Brilliance of The Morningstar."

"The runic lines are done forming, I can tell that much. Each holding meaning. The Star people were capable of reading the future, which shouldn't make sense since the future is ever changing in its true nature." Amaia said softly and Raven grinned.

"Oh well. In the end, it's only a prophecy at worst. Fighting a prophecy never works out well. Plus in the end, I always have you right?" Raven asked and Death smiled at its master.

"Yes. Forever and always my master. Until our ends and beyond, I shall serve you faithfully." She said softly as she knelt before him.

"Good. Then I needn't worry." Raven said smiling before he left to go and teach, as his clothes formed onto his body.

Today's lesson was on mystic codes.

(I didn't feel like writing about mystic codes this chapter, so I'm skipping it.)

Raven smiled as he stared into the mirror. He was wearing a brilliant black suit picked out for him by Zelretch. The old man was pretty good at clothes selection.
