This chapter will get decently dark at the point of being fucked up. Like extremely fucked up. Just a warning.

Raven hummed slightly as he held a sword in his hand. He was attempting to recreate something similar on a conceptual level as Excalibur.

The Sword of Promised Victory.

(Cue scenes of Artoria getting her butt beat and losing)

However to do that he'd need to understand the very concept he'd be using and then properly mold that very concept into a weapon.

However, the concept of Victory can also be very finicky. Who's to say that the promised victory is the victory you will need or even want? Who's to say that victory will belong to YOU?

After all, just because you wield the legendary Excalibur and have "promised victory" does not mean that victory can't turn around and become your very enemy. If you aren't able to dominate that concept, if your will for even a second wavers then your very weapon promising victory shall in turn lead you to defeat.

Even then, one might become the "promised victor" only to die immediately afterward. Concepts are such finicky things after all.

[Death] [Life] [Victory] [Creation] [Destruction] [Energy]

Anything really could be a concept. For if it exists, it is a concept. While some concepts are admittedly stronger than others, and because of such, they require a much greater will to dominate and take control of, to not let it dominate you instead.

"I can't forget that some concepts just don't go with a person. After all, as a king, Father was a victor. A leader who brought victory to their people. So the concept of Promised Victory belonged well with them. However, the moment they properly stopped being a ruler, the concept turned and allowed for someone else to become the victor." Raven said to himself as he watched the sword in his hands dissolve as he didn't use his denial of nothingness to create it.

A smile came to his lips as he watched it.

A pure and happy smile.

Raven hummed as he finished his assignment. He had decided that this year would be his final year as a student. Next year he wanted to try being a teacher. So in the summer, he would get his master's in a few subjects. Nothing too hard for him after all.

However, before then, he had some stuff to do. Like dealing with an annoying ferret as it watched him and Rose work on their assignments. The annoying blonde brat had been following them around for the last couple of days. And it was ANNOYING!

So he's been trying to think of the perfect way to deal with the ferret. One of the ideas came from a book he borrowed from Zelretch's library. When he told the man what he wanted, he had been all too happy to provide help and guidance to solve the "predicament" he had.

Admittedly it was a pretty dark thing, but when has he ever sided on the light side? He had a feeling Rose would give him her "I am disappointed in you" stare that said how disappointed she was in you, but not say a single word.

So he would have to do this in secret, and when Rose found out because she would, he decided that it was probably worth it.

So with a happy grin, he mentally aimed some killing intent at the blonde brat for now to scare him off so he could finish his assignments in peace.
