A/N: Hailee x Reader

Backstory: Y/n has been doing through a lot of stuff so she writes all of her thoughts on paper and Hailee comes home worriedly

HERE WE GO!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Y/n has been under a lot of stress recently, both Y/n and Hailee had a pillow fight on live a few days ago and people blew it out of proportion, blaming and claiming her for stuff that she would never even think of doing.

One of them is hurting Hailee and Hailee had to explain on multiple occasions that Y/n would never hurt her and announced for her that she would be taking a break off of social media. However, Y/n was unsure if she did want to take a break but quickly realised that she should when she posted on Instagram and got so much hate.

Not a single nice comment was left.

And all of this stemmed from Hailee having a small mark on her arm after the pillow fight as Y/n had picked her up and put her over her shoulder. That was all that happened. She didn't know how much it would affect her.

So many thoughts had ran through her mind so she decided to write each one of them down. She wrote every single thought down, going through an entire notebook. She sighed and when she looked up, it was night.

"Wha—? Night?!" She exclaimed, she decided to grab the notebook and head outside, she created a circle of clothes she didn't want anymore and heard someone call on her.

"Y/n? Baby! Where are you?" Hailee asked worriedly.

"Outside." Y/n exclaimed as she turned her lighter on and picked up a letter, starting to burn the letter. She stared at the fire and smiled; she adored Fire. And Fire adored her. Hailee saw her drop the letter that was on fire and watched as she picked another one up and set it on fire. She could see the smile on her face and she didn't know if she should be concerned or happy that Y/n was smiling.

Hailee walked over to her and placed her hand on her back and looked at the now two letters in the small circle. She saw Y/n pick up another one and continue to burn them.

"What're you doing, baby? You okay?" Hailee asked, a little worried. She nodded her head as she continued to stare at the fire. Her eyes were lit up and Hailee couldn't help but let out a small smile as she simply seemed so happy over something small. "What's all this?"

"The papers have my feelings on them..." Y/n expressed slightly blunt, Hailee nodded her head.

"Okay, okay, cool." She hummed out. "Um, can—can I join in?" Hailee asked, Y/n nodded her head

"Yeah, write whatever or just go get paper... do whatever, love." Y/n expressed to her, Hailee nodded her head and grabbed a notepad and a pen, she gave Martini some affection and some rubs before she rejoined Y/n outside, she wrote things down then burned them. Y/n was now done and she let out a small sigh as she stared at the still slightly burning letters. Hailee decided it was time to stop too.

"You feel any better?"

"I don't know." Y/n breathed out, a single tear fell down to which Hailee dropped the stuff on the floor and pulled her slowly however delicately around her waist, she placed a trail of kisses on her neck then placed a kiss on Y/n's cheek.

"I'm sorry, I've t—tried. I've really tried but—"

"It's fine... Hay. We know the truth." Y/n sighed out as she held Hailee in a tight hug, she placed a kiss atop of her head and rubbed her back as she could tell that Hailee had has a slightly stressful day. "Do you want to tell me about your day?" Y/n hummed out, unable to remove her eyes from the fire.

"I feel a little better now." Hailee sighed out, "But is that okay?"

"Of course, little one." Y/n breathed out softly, that made Hailee blush. Y/n had never called her that but Hailee liked it. "You like that nickname?" Y/n asked, not in a judgemental way which slightly scared Hailee but in a soft tone and when their eyes met one another. Hailee couldn't help but notice that there was a lot of love in her eyes. All she could describe Y/n as was the heart eye emoji.

"Hmm-hmm." Hailee mumbled before she let out a sigh, Y/n chuckled.

"Tell me about it, love." Y/n giggled out, Hailee started to talk about how she's starting to become in writer's block as Y/n picked up the pen and notebook as well as Hailee and went inside. She placed a kiss on Hailee's forehead as she continued to rant. Y/n set the notepad and pen down and went upstairs with Martini following them. She laid Hailee down in bed and Y/n got into bed with her, lying down. Martini cuddled up between Y/n as the she and Y/n listened to Hailee rant about how she hates being in writer's block or knowing that it's coming up.

"And it's always around this time! I honestly despise writer's block! Like, why—why? Why is it even a thing? It honestly shouldn't be a thing." Hailee expressed which Y/n nodded her head at, "Thank you, so, when I told my manager this, he was cool about it and then I also felt bad about leaving you and I also got worried, cause, like—like what if you didn't eat? So, I made up an excuse to go home. So, I came home and I am just— no, let me restart that—that little bit, so, I came home and thank god for that because as much as I love writing songs, performing, the whole bunch! I am just so tired."

"I get it—"

"Exactly, you get it but then again, I feel like since your always so creative and can get what feels like everything from anything, it's unfair! Like what? You could look at a tree and make up a verse or—or something. I don't know." She shrugged lightly, "Actually, no, probably. I believe in you."

"T—Thank—"

"I just— I hate it! I hate being in writer's block, it's not fun. There's nothing you gain from it because you can feel so unproductive! Y'know? Like I love acting and I love performing, I can't do one without the other. But— But like when I'm not doing either, I feel so unproductive. And I... I don't know, I don't think that's healthy. Is that healthy?" She asked as she looked at Y/n to see her fast asleep. She pouted at that and began to stroke her head. "She must be so tired..." Hailee muttered to herself, she heard Martini let out a whine and she got up and spun around before she got into an even comfier position but this time, Martini laid next to Y/n. Y/n subconsciously placed her hand lightly on her back and began to give her light rubs before she let out a small hum then yawn.

"Continue." Y/n mumbled out.

"You sure?" Hailee asked, Y/n nodded her head and Hailee continued on to rant as whenever she would stop stroking Y/n's hair, Y/n would let out a small hum and move her head up for a second as a hint for her continue and it was kinda funny to see her take pauses in her explanation on why she hated writer's block and would say a quick 'my bad' or 'sorry' before she quickly went back to her story. "It makes your mind scramble—"

"Mhm!" Y/N exclaimed as she bopped her head up slightly.

"Honestly, love song writing - sorry -" She continued to stroke her hair and forehead as she continued to talk, "but there are just some days I wish I didn't do it all." Hailee continued to rant as Martini had even fallen asleep and Y/n was quickly falling asleep but would wake up slightly whenever Hailee would stop tickling her forehead or her head.

She was listening here and there but the position she was in, she was simply too comfy and couldn't help but fall into the trap of shutting her eyes. Not even realising that Hailee had stopped ranting and was just focused on her and was admiring every detail she had on her face that she loved.
