Y/n had went inside her house to once again no parents, she sighed as she looked around and headed into the kitchen; she grabbed a drink and headed outside, she sat herself down on one of the lounge chairs. She opened the bottle and took a sip, she laid there and played some music.
She sat in silence and thought for hours, not moving or doing anything. That was until she heard a familiar voice. A voice she hadn't heard in a while and wanted to stay away from.
"I need your help." Erwin said, Y/n sat up and moved her right leg over next to her left as she turned her body to him and sighed.
"First off, how the hell did you get here? Second of all, whatever it is, I'm sure you can use that brain you apparently have. You don't need me." Y/n dismissed, Erwin sighed and rolled his eyes.
"Look, I don't know what happened between you and Nadine but she won't stop crying." He explained to Y/n who immediately stood up and walked over to him,
"Why won't she stop crying?" Y/n asked worriedly, the two walking through her house.
"Because of you two falling out or whatever. I've tried everything—"
"Clearly." Y/n scoffed out, she opened the door and let Erwin go first, he left the house and Y/n left and shut the door behind her and locked it just in case. "Stay here." Y/n told him which he nodded his head at, he saw a bench and sat himself down as he saw Y/n rush over to the car and get in. "Hey, hey, hey... come here." Y/n softly told Nadine who quickly wrapped her arms around Y/n and latched herself onto her.
Y/n was in the passenger's seat and she moved her chair back and Nadine moved herself and sat herself down on Y/n's right knee which surprised her but once Nadine straddled her lap and tucked her head into Y/n's neck; Y/n couldn't help but smile. She wrapped her arms around Nadine's waist hesitantly and quickly removed them as she didn't want to make Nadine uncomfortable but Nadine grasped them and moved them back.
"Talk to me, what's wrong?" Y/n breathed out as she rested her chin on Nadine's shoulder as she leaned her head down slightly, holding the crying girl that was slightly shaking.
"I've been awful to you. And you left me..." She sobbed out, "and I deserve it." She whispered into my neck before she continued to sob, Y/n rubbed her back and placed a kiss on her shoulder. She glanced at Erwin who looked down and seemed angry, jealous. She sighed and moved Nadine to look at her,
"I promised you that I won't leave and I'm keeping my promise." Y/n expressed to her, she wiped Nadine's tears away for her and gave her a weak smile. "I mean it, Nadine, I'm not leaving you. And you don't deserve it, not one bit. And... you—you haven't been awful." Y/n expressed to her as she continued to give her a weak smile however it was fake. The smile was fake but Nadine believed it. She felt like she hadn't seen Y/n's smile in years and when she did see it, it brought a small smile to her face.
"R—Really?" She asked as she let out a small sniffle, Y/n nodded her head.
"I assure you." Y/n breathed out and gave her a small nod, "Now, Erwin looks like he's about to beat my ass. So, I think I better go." Y/n informed the girl on her lap who pouted and tucked her head into her neck once more.
"No, don't leave me." Nadine said in such a vulnerable tone that Y/n couldn't help but let out a small hum, she shook her head.
"I know, I'm not gonna go anywhere though. But for real, it honestly looks like if I don't get up and leave his car, he's fighting me." Y/n expressed to Nadine who let out a small sigh,
"But I just got you back." She pouted out as she pulled away and stared into Y/n's eyes, Y/n looked at her lovingly and sat up a little more.
"Nadine, you never lost me in the first place." Y/n informed the girl which made her smile.
"But— But I thought you hated me?"
"I could never hate you." Y/n scoffed out, "Not for a single moment." She added which Nadine blushed at obviously, as she had a light smile on her face and Y/n leaned a little closer and just to make it worse, she pointed at the smile. "There's the smile I love." She hummed out which Nadine slightly gasped at,
"You love my smile?" She asked and Y/n nodded her head,
"Yeah, of course." Y/n chuckled out in a 'duh' tone. Nadine looked down and smiled. Getting all shy and it was adorable. "Oh, is this the first time that your shy?" Y/n asked as she let out a small gasp and moved her face in front of Nadine's.
"What? No!" She exclaimed and covered her face. Y/n started to laugh as she grasped both of her hands and smiled when she saw her face red as a tomato. Y/n chuckled and wiped the tears that were still there. "There. Even when you cry your beautiful." Y/n complimented which made Nadine let out a small hum,
"Gentlewomen." Nadine stated, "I like it." She hummed out as she squinted her eyes and bit her lip lightly,
"I am not a Gentlewomen when I am just speaking the facts, Little Miss Blusher." Y/n chuckled out. She then tapped her thighs delicately, "Now come on, let's get you home." Y/n hummed out,
"I don't want to go if you're not taking me home—"
"I know, but I promise you, we can hang out tomorrow, alright? Erwin looks like he's gotta talk to you." Y/n explained to her as she stared intently into Nadine's eyes.
"Can I come over later then? Once he's gone? I wanna watch a movie." Nadine asked.
"How come you don't want to be around Erwin?" Y/n asked her to which she shrugged at the question,
"He's not you." She said innocently and that's when she noticed something change in Y/n's demeanour. Y/n looked down but then quickly looked at her and gave her a forced smile, Nadine slowly got up hesitantly and Y/n opened the door and slipped out, she shut the door and Nadine sat herself down in the chair and fixed it. Y/n sighed and walked around the front and toward her door where Erwin just so happened to be next too.
"Problem solved." Y/n sighed out, she walked toward the door, her flannel slightly flying up by how fast she was taking her steps; she hated herself for locking the door as it'd take more time to flee the scene. Y/n felt her back randomly against the wall and saw Erwin in front of her,
"Dude, what the hell—?"
"I'm not your 'dude' so, don't call me that." Y/n sighed out, she placed her hand on his face and moved it back, he quickly moved his head back and hit her hand away.
"Hey! You don't get to flirt with my girlfriend and do that—"
Y/n unlocked the door and walked in, she turned to him and bowed.
"I just did." She replied and gave him a fake smile before she slammed the door shut and locked it, she sighed and walked away into the living room. "Well that's over and done with." She sighed out as she fell onto the couch and put Tom and Jerry on.
