❣ Hazel's P.O.V ❣

Why are you smiling like an idiot Hazel?

I don't know... maybe because I had a good night sleep after so long.

Hmm, and why is that so?

Cause I slept wrapped up in his arms. Wait what?

I quickly spring up to see him sitting at the foot of the bed. No, No, No,... What did I do?

"Merry Christmas." He smiles at me. Why is he smiling. Why is he not mad at me. "Coffee?" He offers me his mug, which I take.

"I need to go back home." I say after finishing the coffee.

"Hazel... wait." He grabs my hands. "Can we just talk." Talk? About what? Does he remember last night. Did he hear what I said while I thought he was asleep. "Can we." I nod and sit crossed legged across from him. He mirrors my position, looking down at his hands.

"What is it Ace?" I try to hide the concern in my voice. Key word being Try.

"I thought about it. And I think that I can't force you to love me. Even if I do it'll end up with me with a broken heart." He glances at me.

"I can't make you love me, but before everything, we were friends right?" He looks at me with hopeful eyes. I nod knowing exactly where this is going.

Honestly, I can bare the label of a friend than, him not talking to me. That was more heart breaking.

"So, for the sake of those times... Can-can we just be friends? Because believe me or not, it kills me to not talk to you or just stroll around places without your yapping." He shakes his head, with a small smile.

"Yapping...?" I raise me eyebrows at him.

"You know what I mean." I waves his hands dismissively and I roll my eyes. Though a smile makes its way on my lips.

"So? friends? Lets just start over... " He extends his hand for me to shake.

"Friends." I shake his hand. "Hazel Mikaelson." I introduce myself.

"Ace... Ace O'Conner." He smiles at me.

"Ace my hand?" I chuckle.

"Yeah right." He lets it go and I shake my head.

"So what do you wanna do?" I ask while getting up.

"Ummm... I need your cleaning the house."

"What a fantastic idea to hangout." I say sarcastically.

"I'll be back." I say and walk to the bathroom. When I look at the mirror, my eyes go wide.

My cloths, who changed my cloths. And my makeup... its gone too.

I storm back to the room and see him standing by the window. "Who changed me?" I ask in a surprised voice.

"I did." He smiles proudly. Mimicking me from last time when he asked me that.

"You can't do that. Friends don't change each others cloths."

"Well technically." He laughs. "I changed your cloths last night. So, in that case I changed my girlfriends cloths." He continues.

What am I suppose to say. So I just roll my eyes and walk back inside, smiling to myself.

"Finally, its done." We both collapse on the couch, tiered af.

I mean, its basic courtesy to keep the place clean, especially if it someone else's.
