I woke up and checked my phone to see what time it was, it's only 9:30 Jacobs mom was probably already home now. She's normally back by 9ish.
I slowly crept out of the bed trying not to wake up Jacob. I successfully got up and out the room without Jacob waking up and went downstairs to look for jacobs mom.
Jacobs mom: hey sweetie! How'd you two sleep
She winked at me and smirked, she definitely saw me and Jacob asleep together
Y/n: we slept good, assuming Jacob also slept well
Jacobs mom: good! Thanks again for coming to stay with him I appreciate it so much. In return I'd like to give you 150 dollars to you know go buy some breakfast and maybe a lil something later
Y/n: oh no your too nice I can't take this it's too much
Jacobs mom: I know how clingy and whiney Jacob is when he's sick so please it's the least I could do in return
She walked over to me and handed me the money, I really didn't need to be paid for this it wasn't a big deal. I thanked her and went upstairs in the bathroom and saw I got a text from mom

I understand why mom is worried about me staying home alone with dad still in town but why Jacobs house? Normally she'd ask Harpers dad, I mean I'm not complaining but that's a bit off
I walked to jacobs room too see if Jacob was awake yet, I walked in the room and saw him sitting on his phone in bed. He must've just woken up because he looks half asleep
Jacob: Morning baby
My. Heart. Cannot.
Y/n: good morning love, I have some news to share
Jacob: good or bad?
Y/n: you tell me. I'm gonna be staying here for a week while my moms out of town
Jacob: that's some of the best news I've ever heard
Y/n: haha glad you think so. I have to go pack a bag do you want to come with? We can get food after, your mom gave me 150 dollars for breakfast
Jacob: of course I'll come lemme get dressed first though
We got changed and told jacobs mom we were leaving.
Jacob: I'm driving
Y/n: what? No it's my car I'm driving Jacob
Jacob: yeah it's your car but I have the keys and I'm driving
