Suddenly everything felt like it stopped..

My head was spinning and I couldn't see much.

Everything was muffled...

Here I was basically dying and my only thought was..

Is my baby okay..?

I hoped and hoped that he was healthy..

I couldn't feel much of anything anymore.

No pain.

Nothing.

Something was really wrong.

*Jacobs pov*

The baby was finally here and I was so unbelievably happy.. until they started shouting that something was wrong with y/n.

My heart dropped and my smile quickly faded.

They told me I had to leave the room and that she would be relocated for emergency procedures.

She lost too much blood.

I hesitated to leave..

But it hurt me so bad to watch her basically fade away slowly in front of me.

I stood in front of the nursery and watched the baby through the glass.

He was sleeping now.

Tightly wrapped in a blanket.

I felt myself smile a bit.

"Jacob" I hear y/n's mom call as she taps my shoulder.

I turn around to face her.

"She's gonna be okay" She smiles softly.

I can see her trying to remain calm..

Trying so hard not to freak out and panic.

I pull her into a tight hug and cry into her shoulder.

I feel her rub my back slowly...

After a moment of hugging I pull away and wipe my eyes, standing straight up before putting my hand in the pockets of my sweatpants.

As I do so I hear someone clear their throat.

I turn my head to see the doctor standing there with a clipboard in hand.

"She's doing much better" He smiles softly.

I let out a relieved sigh and I see her mom physically relax.

The doctor gives a reassuring smile before speaking again.

"She's been moved to a different room and is now allowed visitors so if you would like you can follow me this way to her room." He smiles as he turns and starts walking.

Immediately I follow him and her mom follows close behind.

We get to the room and he lets us in first.

I see Y/n laying on the hospital bed sleeping soundly.

I walk over and gently grabbed her hand.
