Chapter 23.

Y/n POV:

I slowly opened my eyes to find myself stil, tucked up in bed still in my gym clothes. I peeled myself out of my now sweaty sheets, gross and ripped the sheets of my bed.
"JARVIS, remind me to take them down to the laundry please?" I said whilst dumping the sheets at my bedroom door. I checked the time, 6:18am. I walked into my ensuite and peeled off my gym clothes before jumping into a hot shower. I washed my hair and scrubbed my body clean before getting out and changing into my school uniform. For once I'm excited to be going to school because I have friends to sit and hang out with, yet I'm also half dreading going to school because of the secret Nat let slip yesterday. I hope they don't freak out but something inside me is saying, they're gonna freak out. I made my bed with fresh sheets and opened my curtains to reveal the beautiful sun rising over New York City. I smiled, feeling energised by the rising sun and scooped up my backpack before running to my door,
"Y/n L/n, your bedsheets" Jarvis reminded me politely,
"Thanks Jarvis" I smiled whilst picking up my bed sheets and walking out of my bedroom.
"Morning LOKI!" I yelled through his door which instantly swung open to reveal Loki dripping wet with only a towel loosely hung around his waist.
"AHH!" I yelled throwing my hands up to shield my eyes,
"Good morning to you too darling" Loki smirked whilst leaning against the door frame,
"What are you doing! Put some clothes on!" I yelled whilst not looking up,
"How did you sleep love?" Loki asked calmly, totally ignoring my previous comments, I opened one eye to address him but keeping my gaze held at his eye level.
"I'm going to go downstairs now. When you come down you better be fully dressed" I huffed whilst turning around and beginning to walk away from Loki.
"Uh Uh Uh, not so fast" Loki said grabbing my waist and pulling me into his damp naked chest. I blushed deeply and kept my eyes strained on the floor,
"Answer me little one, how did you sleep?" Loki said firmly,
"I slept fine" I mumbled, my cheeks bright red,
"Good girl" he praised whilst releasing me,
"I'll be down in a minute love" he said whilst walking into his room,
"Next time, don't open your door when your half naked!" I yelled as I walked away, now feeling more confident that I'm not under his intimidating stare that makes me want to kiss him all day.
"What was that?" Loki said with deadly speed,
"Never mind" I laughed before running downstairs to eat breakfast.
"Morning thor" I smiled at Thor eating pop tarts,
"Good morning lady y/n" Thor smiled but his smile soon fell,
"Has my brother told you?" Thor said sounding solemn,
"Told me what?" I said distractedly whilst looking through the pantry,
"Oh never mind then, anything happening at school today?" Thor quickly changed the subject, I shrugged it off and smiled at him,
"Not much no, pretty relaxing day today" I smiled,
"That's always good" Thor commented,
"What's always good?" Loki said walking into the kitchen fully dressed,
"He's clothed this time, Alleluia!" I teased playfully,
"This time?!" Thor bellowed,
"Calm yourself Thor" Loki said before walking over to me and grabbing an apple.
I began laughing at Thor's face and Loki turned to me smiling.
"Anyway we better head off if I want to get to school on time" I sang whilst grabbing my school bag out of Thor's open arms, which Loki instantly snatched from me and slung over his shoulder. Such a bad boy gentleman, what an odd mix.
"Bye Thor!" I said whilst running into the elevator with Loki already behind me,
"Bye lady y/n and Loki" Thor waved until the elevator doors shut.

Loki began walking me to school as we exited the tower lobby. We began walking side by side down the sidewalk with Loki holding my hand. Neither of us initiated to hold hands but somehow we found ourselves doing it anyway.
Once I arrived at school I released Loki's hand as Peter, Ned and MJ can running up to me,
"Hey y/n!" They all said whilst looking between me and Loki,
"Hey guys, Ned love the shirt" I laughed whilst pointing at Neds avenger shirt.
"Haha thanks" Ned laughed,
"Oh where are my manners, Loki this is Peter, Ned and MJ, guys this is Loki of Asgard" I said motioning between them,
"Very lovely to meet you all" Loki said politely,
"Omg your thors brother!" MJ said wide eyed,
"Unfortunately yes" Loki mumbled,
"Did you really give birth to a horse?" Peter asked,
"And is your wife actually a wolf?!" Ned questioned,
"Guys calm down" I laughed,
"It's alright y/n, but no those midguardian Asgard books are ludicrous. I have no children and no wife, yet" Loki said, whispering the last part whilst looking at me.
"Okay guys we don't wanna be late, say bye to Loki!" I said whilst blushing and waving goodbye to Loki,
"Bye mr Loki!" Ned and Peter yelled whilst MJ waved,
"Bye lokes" I smiled at him,
"Bye darling" Loki smiled before we were separated as we entered the school gates.

Lunch came around pretty quickly and once I got to my now new lunch table, all three of them were sitting eagerly, awaiting answers.
"Hi" I said whilst sitting down,
"So your an avenger?" Peter asked shocked,
"Oh we're going right to the point, Uh yes" I said sheepishly, I didn't like to show off.
"So you have powers!!" Ned yelled making all of us shush him,
"Y/n didn't tell us for a reason, so keep it down" MJ whispered,
"Thanks" I smiled at her,
"Sorry, anyways continue" Ned said,
"I have the ability to heal wounds" I said slowly to not freak them out,
"Your a healer?" Peter said with a shocked expression,
"Yes" I smiled,
"That's so cool, so if I got shot you'd heal it?" Ned said leaning across the lunch table,
"Depends, where your got shot and how much power it takes to heal it" I said whilst munching on a granola bar,
"Woah" MJ mumbles,
"That's amazing" Peter smiles as the bell signalling the end of lunch rings.
"Alright guys, see you later" I waved whilst getting up and walking to my next class,
"Bye" MJ says whilst playfully bumping my shoulder,
"Bye secret healer" Ned whispers with a laugh making me giggle,
"Bye y/n" Peter says whilst pulling Ned in the opposite direction making me laugh. I shook my head smiling and turned around and began walking to math.

I entered math and went over to my assigned seat near the back window. I plonked into my seat as my math teacher began the lesson. I sighed and sat back in my chair, completely zoning out whilst staring out the window.
After 10 minutes I felt my phone buzz and I looked down to see it was a call from Tony. Luckily my phone was on silent and I quickly held it in my pocket,
"Excuse me, may I use the restroom?" I asked my teacher,
"Yes, you may" the teacher said not looking up from where they were writing on the whiteboard. I quickly jogged out of the classroom and out into the deserted hallway. I checked for any nearby teachers before pulling my phone out and quickly accepting the call,
"Tony?" I said confused,
"Y/N!! We need you here now! We are- shit!" Tony was cut off but a loud explosion over the phone,
"Tony! Tony! Talk to me, what's happening!?" I panicked,
"Kid we are fighting a HYDRA group and they have mutants" Tony panted,
"Cap is down and so is Nat" Tony said sounding injured himself,
"Stay calm, where are you!?" I said whilst I ran through the hallway and out the school gates, school will have to wait.
"Next town over, just get here, please" was the last thing I heard before Tony's line cut dead,
"Crap!" I said whilst fully sprinting down the sidewalk, I noticed smoke and chaos erupting in the distance. I knew I wouldn't get there in time am I needed a short cut, then an idea popped into my head.
