All Tessa LaRusso could see as she opened her eyes had been bright lights. She didn't know what was worse, the fact that she had no idea where she was or the fact that the last thing she remembered was hitting the All-Valley Tournament mat. She quickly started to panic, shooting her body forward, but stopped as she grabbed her head at the fast motion. Her movement alerted Daniel as he was talking to the medic, they had Tessa stay in a room that was located in the arena while they waited for her to wake up.
"Oh my gosh, honey, are you okay?" Daniel asked as he walked over to Tessa.
"What?" She asked, still confused as she sat up fully with the help of her dad but still kept one hand on her head. "My head hurts." She mumbled.
"Your heads going to hurt for a while. When did you last eat?" Daniel looked at her concernedly as she thought back.
"A couple of days ago." She muttered, becoming extremely disappointed in her own self.
"God." Daniel sighed, walking over towards the nurse as she grabbed a cup of apple sauce. "Eat this."
"Where is Robby?" She quickly questioned as she started to eat the food that was given to her.
"Getting ready to fight Eli. There was a slight break after you fainted. But Robby should fight soon." Daniel spoke, moving over towards the wall as he rested against it.
"Well, what are we waiting for. I got to get back out there." Tessa spoke, ready to go cheer on her friend as she moved to stand up.
"No, no, no, you're not fighting." Daniel quickly rushed her as he put a hand on her for her to stop her movements.
"Yeah, I know, I'm not stupid. I need to go cheer on Robby." She shrugged.
"No, you need to stay here and rest. I can't have you passing out again." He sternly spoke.
"Dad, I'm fine. I won't do anything drastic. I want to go cheer on Robby, I get that you're in a fight with him right now but come on, I got to go." She nodded to the door. He sighed, debating his options before looking at the door and back at his daughter.
"Fine." He muttered, causing her to smile happily before slowly standing up and finishing her apple sauce.
"Thank you, and if it helps with the whole Robby situation, he told me everything with his dad and he and his dad don't talk. Robby wants nothing to do with Johnny." She quickly walked out if the room.
She started down the hallway, making her way back to the arena where everyone was. She turned a corner, stopping as she watched Miguel fill up his water bottle. Miguel turned over to her as he sighed. "Oh, thank god." He mumbled as she walked over towards him.
