Tessa LaRusso woke up earlier than normal. As the All-Valley tournament quickly approached, she needed to be at the dojo bright and early. She trained in the front, practicing on some dummies as her grandfather and Kreese set up new equipment in the back.

Events from the days prior still heavy on her mind. She didn't understand why she even thought twice about the whole thing. Who cares if Hawk got his Mohawk shaved off? She wasn't allowed to care.

So why did some small part of her care?

"Tessa get in here." Her thoughts were quickly shut down as Silver called for her.

"Whatsup?" She questioned as she cocked her head, looking down at the piece of paper in his hands.

"There's some new rules and divisions to the all-valley tournament. This is perfect. First LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence split, now this." Terry slaps the paper. "Manna from heaven, baby."

"And neither one of them have the fighters to compete in both divisions." Tessa quickly took the piece of paper as she read over the changes to the tournament as Kreese spoke.

"Skills competitions, does that mean I can throw knifes?" Tessa excited questioned as she smiled at them. The two Senesis wearily looked at each other before slowly nodding.

"We'll think about it." Silver spoke. "We're gonna win this tournament before it even starts."

"Where would you like this Mr. Silver?" A man quickly cut off Terry as he came in with a bunch of boxes.

"What's all this?" Kreese questioned as the man dropped the box.

"Top of the line gear to go with our new state of the art equipment. These kids need to see we settle for nothing but the best." Kreese laughed as Silver spoke, Tessa still reading the paper. There was going to be a girls and boys division. What a joke. Girls should be able to fight the boys; Tessa did it last year. "Now is the time to show our strength and reinforce. May I?" He grabbed the knife and cute open the box. "Cobra Kai is gonna be the only destination for karate in the Valley. I want our logos on billboards, T-shirts—"

"And on the backs of both All Valley champions." Kreese interrupted Silver as he pointed to Tessa causing her to straighten her head up.
