Chapter 39

Sage's POV:
"You ready yet?" Apollo called from downstairs
I grabbed my trunk and my mini backpack, kissed Rosey goodbye and made my way down the stairs.
"Yes, and I've doubled checked that I have everything."
"Ok great. Let's go."

Apollo grabbed my hand, apparating us to the burrow. I took in a shaky breath, according to everyone the twins looked different and so did I. This will be the first time I've seen any of the Weasley since last year. What if they don't approve, what if they don't like nose piercings?

"Are we just going to stand here?" Apollo asked
"No." I whispered
We made our way up to the door, the top part was open and the smell of freshly baked bread was filling my nostrils.

"Molly, I'm here with Sage?" Apollo said hesitantly not sure weather to go in or knock or what
"Oh! Coke in come in! You're just in time for breakfast dears!" Molly appeared from the kitchen

"Sage dear! Aren't you a vision!" Molly said giving me a hug and then stepping back to look at my full appearance
"Hello Molly, it's wonderful to see you! How are you?" I smiled
"Oh wonderful dear! The twins and Ginny have been missing you I must say." She responded

She quickly walked into the living room "BOYS, GINNY SAGE IS HERE COME GET HER TRUNK!"
I flinched slightly at her volume. I heard a whole flood of stomping from upstairs, it's sounded like elephants up there.
"Did you say Sage was here?" Ginny yelled
"Yes dear." Molly responded
"SHE DID SAY SAGE!" Ginny yelled
"WHAT?" one of the twins shouted
"IM GOUNG TO BE FIRST!" Ginny taunted

There was a second of silence before a lot more stomping and flashes of red hair trying to get down the stairs as quickly as possible. Ginny made it down first, she stopped on the last step and her jaw dropped. I keep forgetting I look different.
"You look incredible!" Ginny squealed running and tackling me in a hug

I hugged her back tightly, I hadn't realized how much I missed her.
"Fred is going to flip." She smirked causing my face to go red
"Bloody finally! Those were the longest two weeks of our lives!" One of the twins complained
I laughed looking up too see them.

Holy shit.

Giants. Literal giants. Tall and hot tall and hot. Fred looked even more well built than the last time I saw him, he had a new haircut and oh my bloody hell. Every single thing about him was just hotter, holy shit he's tall. Oh someone come get me.

By brain has never gone so far into the ditch so fast. I'm only grateful Hallie isn't here to see me like this. Holy shit. He looks like he could choke me... I would let him..... ok I need to stop. But seriously none has the right to be that damn hot.

I'm not ok! I need to calm down. Stop breathing weird. My face probably redder than their hair. Oh god if he ever gets mad... I'm done. I'm done for. Can he just not look so effortlessly immaculate. Ok, ok, ok I am ok.

I looked up at the twins who were both smirking at me
"Well, you weren't lying when you said you two had grown." I laughed nervously
"You weren't lying when you said you looked different." George chirped "is that a nose piercing?"
"Yeah, do you like it?" I asked nervously
"It looks bloody wicked!" George commented looking closer at my face

Fred just stood there looking at me like he was speechless. It was making me more nervous. Fred please speak.
"Doesn't she look bloody amazing." George poked Fred in the side
"Uh- uhm yeah she does." He stuttered

"Cmon let's get your stuff to my room!" Ginny started grabbing my hand and leading the way to her room
Once Apollo had dropped my stuff and left Ginny shut the door behind him.
"He's in love with you!" She squealed
"What? Who?" I asked confused
"Who? Fred if course! He couldn't stop staring at you!"
"Oh please Ginny, it's just cause I look a lot different he was just shocked." I laughed off her comment

"HALLIE IS HERE!" Molly yelled
We looked at each other and ran back downstairs
Hallie was giving each of the twins a hug and a 'well look at you two giants' remark. Hallie spotted me at the stairs and gave me a smirk knowing what my reaction to them probably was. We gave each other
a hug and our two chaperones decided to head out.

"Don't have too much fun with Fred." Apollo winked
I pulled out of our hug to give him a bewildered facial expression
"What!?" My face started heating up
He didn't even respond before apparating out of sight. I went back into the house and we all stood in the living room awkwardly.

"You kids and go upstairs if you want." Molly offered when she noticed us just standing
We decided that would be best so we all piled into Ginny's room. Luckily she decided to strike up a conversation about the World Cup and we all chatted about that until the awkward energy had faded away and we were all comfortable.

Harry and Clementine said they wouldn't be arriving until tomorrow and then the day after that was the cup. We all cheerfully ate dinner and Mr. weas- Arthur talked about his work and the new muggle things he's acquired over the summer.

Once dinner was over I helped Molly wash the dishes. After a while Fred walked in, leaning against the counter next to the sink. He crossed his arms, and looked down at me "when you said you looked kind of different, I didn't expect this."
"Is that a bad thing?" I asked
"No, just unexpected. So, any new boys in your life?"
I shoved a dish towel in his hands "dry those."
"Is that a yes there is a boy or no there isn't?" He questioned picking up a plate and drying it
"If you must know, there are no new boys in my life."
"Hm." Was all he had for a response

We left the kitchen and headed into the living room once we had finished. Hallie was playing a card game with George on the coffee table sitting on the floor while Ron and Percy competed in a game of wizards chess. Ginny was on the couch reading one of the quidditch books I bought her for Christmas.
"Is it any good?" I asked Ginny
"Oh yes, I've reread it a thousand times. I'm just reading it now so I can be sure I know everything there is to know for the game!" She ranted
"I don't think you're excited." I laughed

"Off to bed children! We're expecting company tomorrow and we must be awake for them!" Molly urged
We all reluctantly headed up the stairs and got ready for bed. Ginny, Hallie, and me stayed up talking about what the World Cup would be like until we finally drifted off to sleep.
