Sage's POV:

April 1st.

As I crept up the stairs to the twins dorm I could barley contain my excitement. I had the whole day planned, including a surprise party that they really wouldn't know about this time.

Every year I try to plan a surprise party and every year they manage to find out about it.
"Never try to out prank the pranksters." They had said
But this year was different.

I quietly opened the door to find two redheads fast asleep in their respective beds. I eased myself onto the side of Fred's bed trying not to startle him.
"Freddie~" I cooed "It's time to get up."

Fred groaned rolling onto his back, stretching out. He looked at me through tired squinted eyes. I smiled at him try to get him to get up. Fred opened his arms as if asking for a hug. But before I could register what had happened he had grabbed ahold of me and dragged me into bed with him. He nuzzled his face into the crook of my neck making sure his grip around me was tight.

"Fred-" I sighed "You have to get up. You do this almost every day."
"Shh, sleep." He responded
I tried pulling away but Fred just tightened his grip. He needs to stop playing Quidditch. Eventually I gave up on struggling and started thinking of other ways to get out of this situation.

I think Fred knows if he does this long enough I'll fall sleep. Soft comfortable bed, a mass of pillows and blankets everywhere, a heater wrapped around me. I started drifting off, against my will I might add.

-

"Fred get up! Sage? When did you get here?" George shook us awake
"This morning when I tried to wake him up the first time." I mumbled
"So the nap master got you huh?" George laughed
"Nap? Master?"

"Yeah, ever since we were little Fred always fell asleep at random times, it didn't matter where we were he would just fall asleep. He was also very good at convincing people to take naps so he could take one too."

"Don't talk about me like I'm not here." Fred grumbled
"Mate. Get up! Today is a very big day." George smiled
"It's our birthday George, it happens every year, but I never get enough sleep. So leave me alone." Fred complained burying his face into a pillow

"No not that! Today is special, today could either be the best or the worst day of my life."
I hopped over Fred's frame onto the floor "What's today? Other than your birthday of course."
"I'm going to ask MC to be my girlfriend."

Fred quickly sat up, dropping the pillow from his face. My jaw dropped trying to fully understand what he had said.
"Really?" Fred asked
"Y-Yeah, unless you think it's a bad idea. I mean we are about to leave school so maybe it's a douche move to ask her to date me now-"

"No!" Fred and I shouted at him
"Are you kidding me! She's been waiting for so long for this! You think she's gonna care that you're leaving? If anything it will assure her that you'll be her's even after you leave and become even more popular than you already are!" I argued
"What she said!" Fred agreed

"You have to get ready! Shoo shoo go take a shower!" I said pushing him in the direction of the bathroom
"Ok mum." George laughed
I shut the door after him and turned around to face Fred. He was still sat on the end of his bed yawning and stretching.

"Our little George is all grown up." I said pretending to cry
"Don't cry darling, you have to let them go sometime." Fred said playing along with me
"Stop talking about me like I'm your child!" George yelled from the bathroom causing me and Fred to laugh

-

"So are you going to ask this morning or tonight?" I asked
"I was thinking this morning, so if she says yes I'll have a girlfriend on my birthday and if she says no I can spend the rest of the day drowning my sorrows." George responded
