sixty-two, song writing

ROXANNE just sent you a message!

ROXANNE
hi elsie!

ELSIE
hi roxie!

ROXANNE

i know that with everything
going on, you may be overwhelmed

but i was just informed that darren
aronofsky is holding auditions for his
psychological thriller tomorrow morning

ELSIE
really?

what is it about?

ROXANNE
it's about a teacher-student relationship
gone wrong

it takes place during college

ELSIE
i've never done a movie like
this before

ROXANNE
which is why i think you should audition

you'd be perfect for the lead

although you haven't done a
movie like this, you'd kill the part

ELSIE
if you think i should audition, i'll audition

ROXANNE
great! i'll email you the script right now

your audition is at 10 am at the
casting building in new york

ELSIE
thank you roxie!

elsie read through the script on her laptop as harry tried to figure out the verse for his song with elsie.

"you know, this would go a lot faster if you helped." harry remarked causing elsie to glance away from her laptop and glare at harry playfully.

"all have you know, roxie just sent me a script for an audition tomorrow and i have to nail this if i want to be in it." elsie remarked causing harry to stop and turn to her.

"you're serious? elsie, that's great news!" he exclaimed excitedly.

"yeah, i just wish i could tell austin." elsie sighed with a shrug.

"you could, you know. you two are just on a break." harry reminded the girl.

"i told him i need space and i do. i'm not going through that again." elsie shook her head as she dove back into her script.

"and who's to say that it'll happen again?" harry asked.

"and who's to say it won't happen again? i don't have the mental strength to go through that right now." elsie informed her best friend.

"i saw and heard how hurt you were after luke first hand, believe me when i say that i never want to see you go through that again but this break from austin won't solve anything." harry told her.
