Jude's Revival

Cordelia POV:

I woke up in the same room where I first met Uriel, the friendly hologram who had been guiding me through this strange world. As I opened my eyes, a familiar voice greeted me.

"Congratulations on passing the trial, little girl," Uriel said. "To revive your lover, you just need to unlock the creation Godrune. Even a basic understanding will be enough."

I nodded, but the thought of unlocking a Godrune felt daunting. Uriel must have sensed my hesitation because he gave me some advice.

"Do the same thing Jude did," he said.

Suddenly, Jude's body appeared in front of me, serene as if he was just asleep. I kissed his forehead, promising to save him no matter what.

Then, I focused on the task at hand. I poured my aether into the orb, trying to explore it slowly while contemplating what I knew about creation.

What did I know about creation?

It was the act of bringing something into existence, creating matter or energy out of nothing. It was the spark that ignited the flame of existence.

As I contemplated this, I felt my control over the aether loosen, and knowledge about creation flowed into my mind. I repeated this knowledge inside my head, trying to absorb it fully.

Suddenly, a searing pain shot through my hand, and I looked down to see runes forming on the backs of my hands. They glowed briefly before disappearing, but I could feel them travelling up my arm and down my back and legs, before pressing on the base of my spine.

The knowledge of creation was now ingrained in my mind, more direct and immediate than before. A Godrune had formed on my back.

(A/N: Kindly suggest names for the Godrune, I'll use this name till then. I decided to have the Godrune names in this form for uniformity.)

[Irie's Manifestation: Wall Creation]

The air around me began to stir as if in response to my aether, and walls appeared out of thin air around me. I gaped at the sight, the vivum within me pulsing with newfound power.

"You have succeeded," Uriel said urgently. "Hurry, transfer your knowledge of creation to Jude before it's too late."

With a sense of urgency, I rushed to Jude's side, watching as his condition worsened by the moment.

"How did this happen in just a day?" I cried inwardly as I placed my hands on his forehead, following Uriel's instructions.

"You've been decoding the orb for a week now," he replied, as if reading my mind. "I didn't want to disturb you since it was vital, but you took quite a long time."

"Shit!" I cursed silently, beginning to transfer aether.

"Slowly extend your aether towards his brain," Uriel advised. "Even though he is comatose, his body will naturally reject your aether, so I'll assist you."

As I tried to push my aether into Jude's mind, it felt like I was pushing against an impenetrable iron wall.

"Relax," Uriel said, sensing my struggle. "Take a deep breath and follow my lead."

I felt his own trail of aether worm its way through the wall, and I followed suit, gradually entering Jude's mind.

Suddenly, I found myself in a strange world where information was firing off in all directions. Uriel appeared before me, warning, "We're now in Jude's mind. Be careful. We need to inject this knowledge in the right place."

(A/N: This won't be very scientifically correct, at least I am not trying to make it so.)

As I injected the knowledge of creation into Jude's mind, memories of his past lives and experiences flooded my own consciousness. I saw him as a student at Xyrus Academy, his love for Kathlyn, his time as a commander, and even our past life memories. It was overwhelming to see the true Jude, but Uriel's voice brought me back to reality.

"Don't be distracted, Cordelia. We are here for a purpose," he reminded me as he guided me to the section of Jude's mind where we could inject the knowledge.

Finally, we arrived at a blank area adjacent to the aevum Godrune knowledge hub. I placed my hands on the surface and let my aether flow into Jude's mind, while the creation Godrune activated and vivum shot out of my palm and was absorbed by the wall.

With great focus, I dug out all the knowledge I had of creation and injected it into Jude's memory directly. It was a tiring and challenging task that felt like an eternity, but finally, it was over.

"Good job, Cordelia," Uriel praised me as we exited Jude's mind, "Sharing information like this is highly effective but also dangerous, as it requires an extremely high level of trust and connection between the parties involved."

Ignoring his praise, I held my breath as I saw Jude's body slowly recovering.

"Channel your aether into him as well to speed up his recovery," Uriel suggested.

With determination, I poured my aether into Jude's body, hoping that it would help him heal faster. I watched anxiously as his breathing became steadier, his pulse stronger, and color returned to his cheeks. It was a long and exhausting process, but finally, Jude was breathing on his own.

I leaned back, my heart racing with relief and exhaustion. It was finally over, and I had saved the one I loved.

As Jude sat up and turned towards me, I couldn't help but embrace him tightly, tears streaming down my face. "Jude, I'm so glad you're back," I cried out.

Jude's expression softened as he returned my hug and patted my back. When I finally pulled away, he leaned in and kissed me on the lips. "Cordelia, I've realized that I love you," he said, his emerald eyes fixed on mine. "I saw everything you did for me, even when you went inside my head. I love you."

I felt my face flush with heat as I gazed back into his eyes, my heart pounding in my chest.

Interrupting the moment, Uriel cleared his throat. "Ahem," he said, "As much as I love a good love story, perhaps it's time for you two to get a room. In fact, I'll prepare a room for the two of you lovebirds."

Jude and I shared a chuckle at Uriel's comment, grateful for his lightheartedness in such a serious situation.

(A/N: Before anybody points out the fact that Uriel said that Jude was in a comatose state, that only happened when they went inside his head.)
