A mixture of disbelief and trepidation washed over me, evident in the deep inhalation that escaped my lips. My brow furrowed as a solitary droplet of perspiration traced a path down my skin, a testament to the gravity of the situation unfolding before me.

"Is this for real?" I murmured, my voice laced with a blend of surprise and incredulity.

Vast, swirling spatial gates materialized in the sky, their circular forms akin to vortexes of chaotic energy. From within their depths emerged an endless horde of demons, pouring forth with unrelenting fury. Each fiend possessed formidable power, a formidable force in its own right.

But what truly sent shivers down my spine was the emergence of dozens of Demon Princes, beings of unparalleled strength, comparable to the mightiest of our own mages. Their arrival only served to compound the already daunting challenge we faced.

Thankfully, Jude had managed to secure the allegiance of the Asuras, their formidable warriors bolstering our ranks for this titanic battle against Asmodeus. Without their support, this arduous struggle would have been an exercise in futility.

Yet, amidst the chaos and carnage, I felt her presence. The most powerful Overlord of Hell herself, a being of immeasurable power, biding her time behind the infernal gate. The chains of karma held her in check, restraining her cataclysmic might until the opportune moment when she could unleash her destructive forces upon our world.

"I hope you ascended successfully Jude," I muttered before focusing on the battle. It was time for the final battle.

With a swift spin, I unleashed a flurry of icy projectiles that tore through the demon horde, piercing their flesh and sending them cascading to the ground in lifeless heaps. Yet, for every demon that fell, it seemed as though two more took its place, an unyielding onslaught that threatened to overwhelm us.

Gritting my teeth, I snapped out of my momentary reverie, refocusing my attention on the task at hand—holding back the horde until Jude arrived.

"He's formidable," I muttered under my breath, my gaze narrowing with determination. Summoning my power, I conjured a massive scythe made of ice, hurtling it towards a towering Demon Prince. The behemoth deflected my attack with a single, casual punch, but not without leaving a gory wound in its wake.

"Not bad, girl," the Demon Prince grumbled in a deep, menacing voice, his gaze fixated on me. In an instant, he closed the distance between us, his fist hurtling towards my face with alarming speed. A surge of danger rippled through my senses, prompting me to conjure a protective wall of ice just in the nick of time, preventing his blow from smashing into my vulnerable visage.

With the burning energy of my dragon heart, I unleashed a powerful slash that cut through the Demon Prince's defenses, cleaving through his resistance and bringing me ever closer to victory. His astonished voice echoed in the air, "What kind of monster are you?"

I chose not to dignify his question with a response, instead utilizing my teleportation ability to instantly appear behind him, freezing time in its tracks. Before the Demon Prince could even register what was happening, I thrust my sword through his head, ending his existence.

Taking a moment to catch my breath, I wiped the sweat from my brow. The battle was far from over, and I couldn't afford to tire so soon.

'Don't get tired too quickly, princess!' Regis's voice resonated in my mind through our telepathic bond. I smirked in response, brushing off his words, and turned my focus to Sylvie.
